The Duggars weren't obligated to tell you anything.
THEY DID go to the parents of the child, outside of their family who was involved, before they knew anything happened.
They did go to their pastor.
They did go to the elders of their church.
Not exactly "HIDING" it.
WHAT THEY DIDN'T DO
was go to police, which would have automatically brought in DHS. Which would have automatically had the girls removed from the home. Which would have had Josh automatically put into custody.
The family would have been torn apart for no reason, except to punish Josh, instead of redeem him.
So now, Josh as an adult is TRYING (as best anyone can tell) to be a fine upstanding person.
The problem is
A--holes like you, who don't know your a-- from a hole in the ground, about what ACTUALLY happened, won't let that happen.
YOU'RE OFFENDED
By something that doesn't concern you.
That's what I was saying, too, on another thread. If the other children are removed, then what? Who knows what could happen to them in the homes of strangers? The parents sure wouldn't have been able to protect them then.
