What we do know...
Is that Duggars did put in place protections in 2006.
Planning and building a house like this, especially the way the Duggars built it, probably took about 2-3 years from the very beginning to the end.
In that time, they planned the layout of the house and how to protect the girls.
Only an a--hole would assume they didn't try to put protections in place, before the house was finished.
The fact that you or I or anyone else in the public doesn't know every detail, doesn't mean they didn't do them.
