California Gov. Jerry Brown said he is doing his part by cutting back on showering and drinking water as the state continues to battle extreme drought.
I didnt take a shower this morning, the 77-year-old Democrat told reporters Friday after a meeting with Silicon Valley mayors in San Jose, Bloomberg reported. Weve installed a low-flow system and were using it quite carefully and quite sparingly.
Mr. Brown said he continues drinking coffee and wine but has reduced his water consumption.

”said he continues drinking coffee and wine”
More water is used to make coffee than just drinking the water.

I’m willing to step up and do my part.
Just like W.C. Fields, I’m giving up drinking water.

A capitalist’s goal is to live better and more affluently. A progressives goal is to live LESS so.

He wouldn’t have done this had he still been dating Linda Ronstadt.

If he really wanted to help, he’d stop breathing and creating CO2, too.

77 year old men smell fairly ripe even when they do bathe. I can only imagine Moon Beam’s pungency.

More water is used to make coffee than just drinking the water. Indeed. And, the energy needed to make the coffee is contributing to climate change which is melting the glaciers and causing fresh water to be released into the environment.

"Mr. Brown said he continues drinking coffee and wine but has reduced his water consumption." Let them drink wine, and Starbucks? Man, if a rich republican said this about his drought plagued poor?

Libs can't distinguish between effective and inconsequential solutions.
They rather do something for show than something that works.
Which explains a lot of their wacky policies.
