Jerry Seinfeld has ruled out playing university audiences because they are too politically correct and he counts the entire younger generation in that.

They just want to use these words," he said. "Thats racist. Thats sexist. Thats prejudice. They dont know what the [bleep] theyre talking about.

. . . which was mocking political correctness. You saw that episode, right? It was one of the few I've seen, and it was side-splitting. All the characters find themselves forced by circumstance to refer to one or another disgusting, awkward, or ridiculous aspect of gay-hood and its subculturebut then feels obliged to add, at the end of the sentence ". . . not that there's anything wrong with that." It gets funnier with each repetition.
Love Rickles....he went after everybody!
It takes a great deal of effort to be Perpetually Offended.
Heck, just keeping the Enemies list up to date can cut into the time required to attend Occupy Protests, Race Riots and Obama Rallies.
Unless the joke is on Christians, conservatives or white men.
I am glad I am getting ready to die.
The next generation will go through the horrors of fascism and the depredations of communism, right here in America.
Did he just take the reservations, or did he keep them, too?

I think one Marine said something on the issue of being PC which is “political correctness is convincing yourself you can hold a turd in your hands and that it will not dirty them”, something on that line, but really it needs to die off.
P.S. If one of these college freaks comes and says something is “racist” when it is not, I will give them the riot act on what my dad had to endure to be successful in this nation, and walk away.
Thank God it was Jerry that said this, now it will have some legs. If this had been said(and it has been many, many times)by Dennis Miller, it would have been ignored
I think it’s time for you to take a flame-thrower to the joint, Frank.
Says the guy who made famous the line; Not that theres anything wrong with that.

Back even as late as the 1990’s, the Seinfeld show could make fun of just about anything, including gays. Fast forward 15+ years and the PC crowd has whittled down the number of things one can joke about to zero. The PC crowd is really all about browbeating anyone over the slightest transgression of an ever growing list of possible transgressions; their real motive being an obsession with controlling others. What a humorless society we’ve become.
Steinfeld is still around??
Sadly, this has been happening for a long time. I remember a PSA in the 1970’s...an older man and a small boy:
“Grandpa, what’s prejudice?”
“Well, who is Timmy?”
“Timmy is one of my Jewish friends”
“See, that’s prejudice”
re: Blazing Saddles
One of the funniest scenes is when Mel Brooks in Indian Chief get up rides to the top of the ridge, sees the negro railroad track crew and says, “Ugh, schvartzers”.
That scene was cut from the DVD and dropped into the memory hole.
We already know that Jerry is an anti-Dentite.
And you could understand the death of “edgy” even a little if this was a case of the pendulum swinging the other way, but it isn’t. They’re just farther out there than anyone wants to consider.
