A police officer in the Dallas-Fort Worth area has been suspended after video footage emerged that shows him wrestle a bikini-clad girl to the ground and then point his gun at a group of unarmed teenagers.
The incident happened after McKinney Police Department received several calls on Friday night about a disturbance near the Craig Ranch North Community Pool.
Cell phone footage of the incident shows one officer arrive at the scene and start overreacting in a manner that does little to defuse the situation.

Dead is dead, kids kill a lot of people. Is it ok to die if a kid kills you?
Oh boy, he picked the wrong specie as a white man
Shut up idiot
This was a bunch of high school kids trespassing (maybe) at a community pool. Not war.

Hyperbolize much? What happened outside that private community pool was NOT WAR. It was a standard police detention of an unruly, out-of-control individual who resisted and had to be taken down to be handcuffed.
Not every call an officer responds to is a deadly force situation. Your logic — don’t hesitate to kill ‘em all — is a recipe for disaster.
Again: Every other officer at the scene managed to do his job without going nuts like this guy. Every one. That should tell you something about how a reasonable officer would have responded.
And just like typical cowards those Black young men were looking for
the officers back to be turned. Yea, he's short and having a gun equals
the playing field.
I have no problem with this officers actions against the Thugs or the disrespectful
bikini clad loud mouth.
Don't bring that shit to Texas.
I wasn’t saying that the officer responded as if it was war. I was responding to another poster who was quoting his DI’s advice to kill ‘em all, then ask questions, because his DI had survived three wars. I was saying that said advice was irrelevant here. I didn’t bring up the war analogy, I responded to it.
That’s not urban legend—I read it in news reports. The stated reason was that studies had shown smarter young cops got bored and changed jobs relatively quickly, so the municipalities didn’t get a good return on their training costs.
Seems as if he was ordering all the black boys to stay and sit down, and all the black girls to leave—while swearing liberally at all of them.
Except they weren’t all trespassing, and he appears to have singled them out by race.
“I have no problem with this officers actions against the Thugs or the disrespectful
bikini clad loud mouth.”
Good for you but I’ll bet you that over the next few days the cop is going to wish he’d handled this differently. I wonder when his public apology is going to be forthcoming.
By the time he reached for his gun, the two guys who had (in your words) charged at him were already running away.
” If I feel threatened enough to pull out my handgun then lead will fly, not out of malice, or hatred, or ill intention, but only for the purpose of defense.”
Are you a cop?
As I recall, consultants advised the policy.
“Except they werent all trespassing, and he appears to have singled them out by race.”
Right. They also didn’t appear to be rioting. No thrown rocks nobody screaming obscenities except the cop no weapons.
They acted pretty much like any other suburban high school kids.
didn’t see this advice posted- https://youtu.be/wOx6OM01M5M
Clearly this advice from Chris Rock was not taught to these youths.
If a cop asks you to move one moves and don’t sass back...cops have a gun and aren’t trained to shoot to wound.
Well, I hate to break it to you, but the voice of Sweet Reason sometimes simply doesn’t get the job done.
But just so I’m clear, your primary critique is that the officer raised his voice?
I can tell you this, for sure though, since you decided to bring my family into this conversation: any offspring of mine who a) was trespassing and b) refused to leave when asked and then c) refused a police officer’s lawful demand to disperse and then d) resisted arrest would not need to worry about the police or the courts or any such wrist-slaps from officialdom. They would be far too worried about the wrath of Dad, which may well be one reason I never had to deal with any of that crap from any of my kids.
Wrong.
Those ferals were facing him when he pulled his firearm!
Now go back and watch the video again.
