I think he is selling a product: His radio show. Just like they do in Hollyweird, if ratings drop he says something outrageous or scandalous under the theory that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

You know Mike you just have to accept that there’s only so many ways to say “these guys are idiots and they’re destroying everything”, eventually you will get copied. Much like how you started off copying somebody. Anger is very repetitive.
Overall I wouldn’t worry about Coulter too much. I’ve never seen her very bothered by criticism. It is possible she thrives on it.

She’s absolutely right about America’s sell-out on trade, which both the GOP and the democrats are completely involved in advancing.
She’s absolutely right. 100%. On that issue.
And she’s remarkably close to Trump on that issue.

Savage is a small man, who works only to make himself seem larger.
He had Ann Coulter on his show before.
Maybe imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and he should just feel flattered(?)
If Hannity and Savage could have a baby it could do well as a conservative....Well... on second thought, it might end up more like Bill O’Reilly.

IMO, Coulter is very very smart but not always wise. Savage is a showman. He is clever. To the extent that clever takes brains, he is smart. He is a little too bizarre and arrogant for me to draw too many conclusions. I’m never 100% sure how to take him. So I take him as entertainment. My liberal aunt hates his guts and it is somewhat fun to watch her turn inside out.
One more comparison: Savage has a mean side. Coulter doesn’t. The left would call her mean, but I wouldn’t. She has a cutting wit, but it isn’t mean in a vengeful way like Savage. Savage has a nice side once in awhile but he can be ruthless (with words, probably not actions). I would not want to admit that to my aunt because the left has those sorts of characters and then some and she just loves them.
Haven’t listened to Savage in years, but he was one of the few who talked “borders, language and culture” on immigration years before 9/11/2001. 9/11 gave a lot a folks the extra backbone to discuss immigration who wouldn’t get near it before then.
But Coulter is not copying Savage, and many people well known and not have recognized the negative impact of legal and illegal immigration for years.
Anti gun Savage can GFH. (Also...Ann has been less than conservative what with her early 2012 love affair, with Willard, too)
I think those are good observations. I agree - I don’t think Ann Coulter is mean. The left would call me “mean” because I would stand there in my long dress and hat with a baby in my arms and say, “I don’t mean to be rude, but do you know that all homosexual activity is immoral?”
