What is the point of the Republican party anymore?

To fool people into thinking the country might have a future after all.

The point of the Republican party is to advance the government agenda while making right minded people think that the GOP is on their side and that they have a choice and a voice by lying to them.

To fool right-leaning rubes into thinking they have a voice in the process. Same purpose the Democrat party serves for left-leaning rubes.

The politically-minded need to be kept busy and distracted with electoral horse races and social crises, lest they suddenly decide to work in unison and pose a threat to the Power of the State.

To be the lesser form of pure evil, or whatever.

I'm beyond disgusted. Thinkin' Rand Paul is where angry votes go in the primary, third party in the election.

Answer: to kiss Obama's ass and be the party of "Democrat Light."

That's about it as best I can tell.
