When a CNN poll last week showed Hillary Clinton leading Rand Paul by a single percentage point(48-47)and only three points ahead of Marco Rubio(49-46)and Scott Walker(49-46), it was mildly shocking. In April, her lead over the three Republican presidential candidates had been in double digits:Paul(58-39), Rubio(55-41), and Walker(59-37).
But wait. If the next CNN survey shows Clinton actually behind one or two or three of the GOP candidates,it wont be just shocking. It will send Democrats into a near-panic over the possibility of losing the White House in 2016, even with their preferred candidate, Clinton,as nominee.
Such a poll result isnt far-fetched as we watch Clintons campaign deteriorate. True, head-to-head matchups this early in the presidential cycle are almost never predictive. But in this case, its the psychological impact that matters.
That Clintons candidacy is in trouble is indisputable. Shes not threatened with losing the Democratic nominationat least not yet. She has the well-financed Clinton machine and a national network of supporters on which she can rely. The campaigns of her Democratic opponents are small and weak in comparison.
But the rationale for her bid for the presidency, the strategy of her campaign, and the tactics shes adoptedall have failed to stop her steady decline. The expectation of Clintons glide into the White House in 2016 is gone.
...In place of a rationale, theres an assumption that her prominence, her résumé,and the likelihood of her becoming the first woman president would make her a uniquely appealing candidate. They havent. Shes a terrible candidate. She has not only failed to attract big crowds. Shes having trouble raising big money from those described by Politico as rich liberals.
The old adage that opposites attract may apply in her marriage.Bill Clinton is charming, has wonderful political instincts,is a compelling speaker, and has a common touch. She lacks all four. Also,Bill is dynamic. She is lifeless as a candidate...

Cheer up stanne. Your perception is of value, but, most of us just did not make any connection of that political cartoon with Iwo Jima; and I’m a Vietnam era veteran. It’s all good. We do want to hear your opinions and your “perceptions” here on FR. As the newest pop culture saying goes: “Calm down and carry on.”
No. In fact I objected to a desecrating image.
Those who do not see the image as offensive have the same right that I do, but not a right to insult me.
When someone spits on the ground, I express disgust. In former times people would tell the guy to quit spitting, that some find it disgusting.
Now, all liberals will gang up with the offender and insult the offended.
Doesn’t make me look bad.
I’m just defending the beautiful Image of the Marines at Iwo Jima.
And I will not back off.
Well don’t be so sure I am not a combat veteran.
Oh I am calm and happy. Perhaps you know people who get confused unless they have you to tell them how to feel. so I understand the temptation to direct others.
It’s Iwo Jima. That was lost on you?
I listened to Hillary talk on a Fox News Video yesterday and I honestly believe that she is mildly retarded. The amount of media protection she will require to shuffle her cankled brain through a presidential election will surpass the standards of media control set by Joseph Stalin in the 1930s. I don’t think it can be done.
Ref. your Post #17: Once upon a time your analysis would have had merit. But, not in this case. Benghazi, cleaned e-mail server and the Clinton Cash scandals are NOT GOING AWAY! The MSM outlets going after her, on all of the above, are LIBERAL; New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, ABC..... Why? Because they want a more LIb What has worked in the past, will NOT work this time.
Your post 16 was the start of it. Up til then it was reasoned.
I am going to put that picture on my back door to scare away burglars.
freedom of speech allows the poster to post the image.
It allows me to object to it.
It allows all those who feel guilty about enjoying seeing a sacred image desecrated, and all the anti patriots, to insult the offended.
I started it, how? By objecting to an insult?
THat is illogical.
Bill’s not ‘dynamic’ ... more like ‘wasted’ - - and even blacks are wising up to the Clinton scammers.
prior to the mid term landslide all the polls were call”too close to call”. We are see a repeat of this crap now. Some Freepers openly claimed the right results...by luck or actually research. In any event the next election will go R. Unless we have this scenario....
1. Bush, Paul, Carson or the Huckster as the nom.
A surprise announcement of Paul going 3rd party.
2. Massive voter fraud. This may not be too strong this yr however because of voter ID laws now in place.
OK buddy; you need to never go online when you’re drinking. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill and just trying to stir up strife here on a Saturday morning. Go sleep it off.
Now that’s a great cartoon!
A surprise announcement of Paul going 3rd party.

OMG.... please don’t even mention that. The very thought of it makes me sick to my stomach. One Clinton has already won the White House with Ross Perot running as a Third Party in 1992. He, and everyone who voted for him, gave us the Clintons for life. We can’t have that again.
Funny......and true!
Hillary is the Democrats Bob Dole.
A surprise announcement of Paul going 3rd party.
*************
But there is only one party now — the Uniparty. Paul would be the second. ;)
Re: Ted Cruz. Cruz, as well as the others, have picked a bad year to run for Pres. all because of Florida’s winner take all primary. Im PO’d because as a Florida primary voter my vote will not count if Bush is still in the race by March. y hope is he will get booted before Florida’s primary then I can comfortably vote for Cruz or Walker or Perry maybe Rubio.
An ad Hominem attack. AND slander. Plus lies
People are just not allowed to express being offended.
It makes people very angry.
Oh well.
