Finding Islamic State militants to kill is not easy, the top U.S. commander overseeing the air war in Iraq and Syria said.
Air Force Lt. Gen. John Hesterman says U.S. pilots are hitting as many targets as they can find, and to suggest otherwise is simply wrong.
"The thought that we are observing large numbers of Daesh terrorist and not killing them anywhere is fiction," Hesterman said Friday in a rare briefing for Pentagon reporters from his headquarters in Qatar.
"That is patently false," said Hesterman, the commander for U.S. Air Forces Central Command.

If I was more of a conspiracy theorist, I’d suggest that DAESH is a CIA/US government creation and entity.
I mean, after all, why else would they refuse to be so aggressive? Because it’s the new “Secret Army” doing to dirty work of deposing Assad.

now, i’m not a general in 0bama’s army, but i’m pretty sure if i wanted to defeat an enemy, my strategy prolly wouldn’t include giving then $5 billion and one of our freshly stocked military bases.
So.. what the general is saying is maximum firepower is being used on ISIS, yet it doesn’t halt their advances. Wiping out all those long columns of trucks and military gear on those wide open roads is simply beyond our capability.
Got it. So put simply, the enemy succeeded in its objectives despite so-called maximum effort to stop them. That’s what we call a military defeat. A force of 30,000 with no air assets defeated the purported #1 military force in the world.

Knew what the general was saying was nonsense as soon he used the politically correct term Daesh because he did not want to offend Islam.
Lt. Gen used to mean something very special, now it's just another political plum given to ticket punchers who kiss the right ass.
The leading generals on active duty all support homos drill sargeants, trannie spec-ops troops, and ultra-restrictive ROE.
