This is the most outstanding interview I’ve heard so far, All questions from the audience.
At the end, A lady proposes a team for Cruz to run with naming Cabinet members. Just phenomenal!
You really should listen to the tape. This is the first time I have heard Cruz have the opportunity to elaborate on the issues and where he stands on them. I have a clearer grasp of what the bills do and don’t do. He has read the bill he voted on in its entirety and believes it should be released to the public immediately.
Is there a single candidate who is supporting deportation?
For TPP, he said it was stupid to have the text classified. He READ the TPP. It was relatively a straightforward trade agreement. He didn’t have weeks to study each paragraph closely. Unfortunately, from the past history of the administration’s abuse of power, the secrecy gives the impression that they are hiding something horrible in the bill. Fortunately, under TPA they have to make any trade agreement, including TPP, public for 60 days before the Congress can vote on it. People can study closely at this time. But personally he wanted the text public right now.
Is there a RINOization process good candidates must undergo before they become "real" candidates?
There exists a common denominator of “elitist group think” that actually runs America for their own benefit. The birth place of this philosophy is Harvard and to a lesser extent Ivy League.
What made Harvard the birthplace of nobility in America? Examine the resumes of our elites. They represent a club of special privilege. Their propaganda attempts to undermine the rest of America by feeding us a line we are the bigoted and privileged ones for not wanting our country and culture destroyed by the whims of the real elites.
The Dems and Repubs have become the means to keep the sheep clueless and pitted against each other over frivolities, instead of paying attention to what is really important which is our country, economic security, freedoms, rights and values.
I always had a philosophy that I would really examine before I voted for an incumbent, a lawyer, and now Harvard (or Ivy League) background. I want a democracy led by Americans, and not by an aristocracy.
Bingo, I wish more people realized this
This belongs in breaking news. Kudos for posting it.
For those who have not listened to this interview, the last question was posed by a lady who had a proposed strategy for Cruz. She suggested he could unite Conservatives by running as a team. She suggested this team:
Cruz as President
Walker or Carson as VP
If Carson is not on the ticket, he should be Secretary of Health and Human Services
Allen West, Secretary of Defense
Jeff Sessions, Attorney General
Secretary of State, John Bolton
Secretary of Homeland Security, Rick Perry, with Sheriff Joe Arapio as Head of the Border Patrol
Veterans Administration, Mike Huckabee
I don’t remember if she named a Commerce Secretary.
Press Secretary, Judge Janene Piero
Ted Cruz said, “From your lips to God’s Ears!”
The only one I might cange is Attorney General. We desperately need to keep Jeff Sessions in the Senate. Rudy Giulliani would make fine Attorney General.
You can’t depend on the transcript. Much of it is gobbledigook. The interview is well worth the time.
Sorry, but the NSA "Freedom Act" is only marginally better than the hated Patriot Act. The fact of the matter is that the whole thing should have just been allowed to sunset.
No excuse. Period.

But I'm not giving him a free pass on TPA or the Patriot/Freedom Act, or his position on increasing H1-B visas.
He hasn't been himself for the past three weeks, and he needs to shake out of it.
Sorry, Timber! You don’t trust him enough to accept his explanation.
No I don’t. I don’t trust any politician who votes for secret things backed by the Obama regime, even Cruz.
Obviously, you haven’t listened to the audio of the interview.
Yeah I did, but I’m still not buying any of it.
Enforce the laws against hiring and the illegals go home the same way they got here. Self deportation.
It's not necessary to support deportation, per se.
Self-deportation due to not being able to work legally, especially after a crack-down on all employers (think prison for violations), and no access to any public benefit (SNAP, Disability, AFDC etc.)
Most would leave. And far fewer would attempt to come here.
Like Cruz (a good man BTW), you're just avoiding answering the question.
You have to take your own journey, Timber. But you’ll never be alone.
