"Is there a single candidate who is supporting deportation?"

It's not necessary to support deportation, per se.

Self-deportation due to not being able to work legally, especially after a crack-down on all employers (think prison for violations), and no access to any public benefit (SNAP, Disability, AFDC etc.)

Most would leave. And far fewer would attempt to come here.

“Most would leave. And far fewer would attempt to come here.”

The illegal immigration thing has been going on for too long not to have the backing of high powered interest groups on both sides that have interests counter to the American people.

The political elites apparently look at things differently than through the eyes of most Americans. Common sense could solve a lot of problems but money from special interests gets in the way. Until big money is removed from politics nothing will change. The elites can call it freedom of speech or bribery, because it always means the same thing, quid pro quo. It will further separate the priorities of our government and our elected officials from the people the longer this goes on.
