A recent CNN/ORC poll finds 75 percent of Republican partisans prefer that their party nominate a presidential candidate who can beat the Democratic candidate, while only 25 percent prefer a nominee who agrees with them on issues that matter most to them. This clashes with partisans reported preferred candidates for the Republican nomination. Numerous polls find disproportionate support among partisans for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker; however, U.S. senators Rand Paul and Marco Rubio perform better in general election matchups against likely Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
Despite this, 2016 election coverage has tended to pay more attention to Bush and Walker over Rubio and Paul. In fact, a May Fox News poll even excluded Paul from its general-election matchups with Hillary Clinton.
One reason less attention is being paid to these candidates is that only a quarter of Republican voters believe either Rubio or Paul have the best chance of beating the Democratic nominee in the general election, according to another recent CNN/ORC poll. But the matchup data say differently.
To be sure, Clinton enjoys a sizable lead against all Republican contenders. That being said, Quinnipiacs latest poll shows that in a hypothetical general-election matchup, Paul and Rubio come the closest to beating Clinton. Paul would garner 42 percent of the vote to Clintons 46 percent and Rubio would capture 41 percent to Clintons 45 percent.

If they are after Hillary why aren’t they calling for her arrest? The evidence is overwhelming she broke the law. All they have to say is “I don’t believe there should be 2 laws in this country, one for the politically connected and one for everyone else. Hillary Clinton broke the law by deleting government emails, there is also overwhelming evidence she is guilty of criminal negligence in the Benghazi case so I am asking that she no longer be treated as a fugitive from justice but one that will face justice”. That’s all they have to say. And I’m just listing a tiny tiny fraction of the crimes this bitch is pulling out her ass seemingly every week. She is a CRIMINAL so why aren’t they pointing that out? Even though I can’t stand Donald Trump, I *really* hope he runs because this guy would not hesitate for a second to say stuff like that.

How to read a Big Gay Media poll -
(1) any Republican candidate CNN says is “a big threat to Hillary” is actually unelectable;
(2) any Republican candidate CNN says is “too extremist” or “unelectable” is one that can actually beat Hillary.
CNN is a malicious division of the Democratic Party. CNN has an agenda - make sure the Repubs nominate a beatable loser. That’s why CNN hates Cruz & Walker.

Cruz hasn’t made much of an impression in this category yet.
He has been screwing up lately which I am sure has been noticed by voters. He also announced too early. I know he wanted to be first but I think waiting awhile and let others beat each other up and then announce in the Summer would have been better. Now he doesn’t have anything to lift him up and now that the Senate is done working, he REALLY will have to fight to stay relevant.

I agree. I don’t think many people recall how messed up her 2012 campaign was.

The RNC must produce an amnesty candidate for The Cheap Labor Express. Jebster is shooting himself in the foot, so Rubio is Plan B.

Cruz hasn't made much of an impression in this category yet. It's still early innings. I have read elsewhere that he is the candidate that Team Hillary is most desirous to have an opponent.
Hey Jack,
When was the last time a Democrat Politician, or his/her/it's team ever told you the truth about anything?

Any GOP poll that CNN is involved with, will produce the candidates that they want the GOP to nominate ... because they KNOW they can be beat.
