Waco Judge Agrees to Let Most Bikers Go If They Sign Contract Not to Sue for Wrongful Arrest
Washington Weekly News ^ | May 31, 2015 | Looney and Conrad Law Firm

Posted on 06/01/2015 5:57:56 AM PDT by bgill

“It appears the public defenders office in McLennan County is involved in this scurrilous activity,” said Paul Looney, a Houston attorney with Looney & Conrad, P.C. “I’ve never seen anything like the lawlessness that the authorities have perpetrated on these people and now to add insult to injury they are trying to cover their own tracks in exchange for bond.”

Not remotely sure what you are trying to say.

If you ride at all and can’t identify the 1% vs everyone else, you are a fool. If you are at a gathering where those 1% are there in any significant number and stick around you are an even bigger fool... if you do that, and then the shit hits the fan while you are there and then cry about it, you are not just a fool, but a flat out idiot.

Lie with dogs, wake up with fleas.

You’ve been arrested twice, good for you.

Kind of explains why you and I don’t run in the same social circles.

If you "rode for years," you would actually KNOW who and what typical Harley bikers are -- including the types that aren't going to be scared away from a public restaurant because of guys in bad-boy vests. Since you are so very obviously ignorant of the kindred spirit in bikers ... it means that either you are lying when you claim to have ridden for years ... or it means you are extraordinarily obtuse.

I kinda lean toward the second conclusion.

I hope you are right. So far it looks as though the cops, judge, prosecutors and public defenders are in cahoots. Not too long ago there was a prosecuted finally caught withholding evidence for years, some of them death penalty cases. Also reports of shifty forensic labs.

“the bikers wounds were headshots and COM shots”.

The 9 bikers who died, anyway: head, neck, chest, trunk shots are what made them fatal wounds, but in themselves do not tell who made the shot, nor even what caliber of round. Nor close range with a handgun or from a distance with a rifle.

BTW the dispatch audio (on conservativetreehouse) speaks of at least some fire coming from the Twin Peaks site; a guy crawling, firing . . for what it’s worth.

This is the most interesting part in that article, at the very end:

Looney revealed that his clients, a couple named English, William and his Morgan, were arrested as they arrived late at the Twin Peaks meeting following their ride from Brenham. A disturbance broke out, and hearing gunfire, they took cover. They were looking forward to a day of fun with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts when they unwittingly ran afoul of the law, local police, deputies and federal officers hell bent on rounding up “thugs.”

English is a Marine veteran of two tours of duty in Iraq. A nine-year veteran worker at Valmont, he and 160 fellow employees were recently laid off. His severance pay has been terminated because he hasn’t been able to check in since his arrest, according to his attorney.

Looney recalled that English said, “I heard two pops that sounded like small caliber gunfire, “Following that, I heard several bursts of assault weapon shots. I recognized the sound because I carried one of those weapons for six years as a marine. That’s all the gunfire I heard. Then the police started screaming ‘Get down!’”

Given the relative lack of mass of .223/.556 rounds, it strikes me that any such round would be rather likely to stay in the head of anyone hit by said round.

LOLOL!! You sure got that right! I run with good people you wrongly hold in contempt. I run with people who would likely save you and yours in a pinch and you would be shocked to know that oh my gosh ... they had an arrest record for some numb-nut goof when they were young and stupid -- YOU never were, though, obviously!

I have no idea who you run with, and I bet you don't, either! {^) Sure, you may know their names and their professions, but you only think you know them -- I conclude this because quite obviously, you only think you know why men have love affairs with Harleys and other bikes.

That caught my eye, too, but what is your take on how that relates to the scenarios being discussed? If you don’t mind.

I rode for years, I know quite well the difference between the 1% and the podiatrist, dentist, etc who had a mid life crisis and bought a bike.

Just reconfirming with your own words how deeply you buy into the popular social feminized narrative of why men ride motorcycles.

It communicates oodles about you and your lack of analytical or original thinking, and zip about men on motorcycles.

I know exactly what most riders, are, which is why anyone who is claiming that a rider who didn’t just pick his bike up 10 minutes ago, can’t identify a 1% is nonsense.

Bad Boy Vests? Please how about you stop looking for a reason to be offended like some liberal idiot and actually read what I have written.

I never said be scared of someone in a bad boy vest, or even be scared of a collection of bikers, what I said was, if you are in a place where the 1% are being represented, particularly in a large way, let alone multiple unrelated groups of the 1% are being represented and you choose to stick around, you are making a conscious decision to lie with dogs.

When you make that decision, you can’t whine like a little girl, when you wake up with fleas.

I don't know. But, it's the first account from a witness that I think is reliable. The others have been anonymous, or of questionable authenticity.

Of course, this is still second-hand, through his attorney.

You’re right finny, I know nothing about you, other than your claim on being twice arrested, and that you somehow take it as a personal offense, that anyone pointing out that anyone who has ridden a bike for more than 10 minutes can identify the 1% vs the 99%, and given that any biker who’s actually put a few miles on their bike can make that identification, calling those who choose to stick around when the 1% are being represented in any number, let alone multiple separate groups of the 1% are being represented, are making a conscious decision to do so, and should not be whining if the shit hits the fan while they are there, and the consequences that come from it.

Apparently, the ‘subhumans’ are about to be vindicated.

Imagine that.

“account from a witness that I think is reliable”

It seems consistent with the dispatch audio that is on conservativetreehouse.

Hard to believe that a judge has the temerity to make such a weasely demand.
*******************************************************************************************************
I think that the local police/governmental puppets of Obama’s DOJ felt that the DOJ had their back. So they felt they could get away with ANY lawlessness.

I’m not sure any such agreement would hold up as it could be viewed as being obtained UNDER DURESS.

“Almost all of the dead or killed by head and neck single shots.”

Most of the wounded were shot but some also had knife wounds.
