An armed biker gang. Cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. A mosque in Arizona. What could possibly go wrong?
Well find out Friday, when two organizers Jon Ritzheimer and Flash Nelson host whats being billed as a peaceful demonstration outside the Islamic Community Center in Phoenix. Its the former site of worship for Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi, who were killed after opening fire outside a May 3 contest featuring cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in suburban Dallas. Simpson had no direct link to the Islamic State but was sympathetic to its cause. Many Muslims consider depictions of Mohammed blasphemous.
Just like the cartoon contest outside Dallas, this event, scheduled for 6:15 p.m. Friday, appears to welcome controversy. In a Facebook invite, the planners urge attendees to take full advantage of their Second Amendment right to carry weapons. So far, 163 people have RSVPd.

The lower class of men? The politicians. None lower.
Thank you very much.
:)
Predictably:
“Credible threats being made and now having to move my family into hiding.
Real nice Islam.
Thank you for showing your true colors.
I have not made any threats nor do I condone any threats. I’ve been preaching peace this whole time and once again Islam shows its lack of tolerance for others freedom.
I will say that I think this cartoon contest is completely stupid, but this is all to show what Islam is about.
The only one threatening with violence and that has a track record of it is them.
Rally going on as planned.”
Dude has brass ones.
Classic “If I suck up to them now, they’ll kill me last” magical thinking.
They’ll stand there, blinking in blank ferret amazement, as the blade descends.
“But I was your friend! I defended you!”
*thud*
Sheesh!
Stinkin’ subhumans.
I never did like the smell of goats...
PR motorcycle clubs. They can be spotted by the LED scrolling marquee on their vests and wheels.
The question was who?
so what is the club that you said is making a good PR move?
And pork tenderloin sandwiches.
Perhaps a BLT stand would be in order...
Look up some of Dr Seuss’ early work... :)
Just this morning I read that in addition to this deal, it is the start of the Phoenix Comics Convention (Comicon), which will be full of costume wearing weirdos. The thought crossed my mind is there any way these two events could get hooked up?
Last year the Phoenix Comicon attracted almost 78,000 people.
These clubs are always linked in a fashion. None work in a vacuum. It’s a loose, but remarkably sophisticated relationships and protocols.
You want to start a club, you have to get the blessing from the dominate club, get your rules and colors and boundaries squared away, and that’s just the beginning. What you wear and where you can wear it is another thing that gets settled. It goes without saying it took a lot of cooperation to get this thing going. And they do have resources.
American bikers vs. deranged pedophiles...must-see TV.
