Federal prosecutors on Thursday charged former Republican House Speaker Dennis Hastert with illegally structuring cash withdrawals from bank accounts to make payments to someone he committed prior misconduct against and lying to the FBI about it
Screen froze. Sorry for posting what others did just previously
Sounds like there’s more to the story...
All well and good, and yet Hillary Clinton has not been charged by the Feds for anything.
He is extremely anti-American.
Me too. I lost by 40 seconds :(
Lets see... Why not charge ex Democrat leaders?? II heard of BS...but come on...
yep
Lying to the FBI? Isn’t this kinda like how Martha Stewart was snagged? NEVER talk to investigators without your lawyer!
When is the FBI going to arrest Bill and Hillary for getting illegal foreign money, establishing a shell foundation to launder dirty cash, and failing to declare millions in foreign money to the IRS? Somehow I doubt Hastert’s infractions were as serious, but he is a Republican, so they will go after him hammer and tongs.
Sounds like there is more to the story. And that the story is not criminal but the charges will bring out the story. Lying to the FBI is all they got. So they just want to get him. I hope he has the resources to defend himself.
When monkeys fly out of Hillary’s butt.

The average professional in this country wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, and then goes to sleep, unaware that he or she has likely committed several federal crimes that day. Why? The answer lies in the very nature of modern federal criminal laws, which have not only exploded in number, but, along with countless regulatory provisions, have also become impossibly broad and vague. In Three Felonies a Day, Harvey A. Silverglate reveals how the federal criminal justice system has become dangerously disconnected from common law traditions of due process and fair notice of the law's expectations, enabling prosecutors to pin arguable federal crimes on any one of us, for even the most seemingly innocuous behavior. The dangers spelled out in Three Felonies a Day do not apply solely to''white collar criminals,'' state and local politicians, and professionals. No social class or profession is safe from this troubling form of social control by the executive branch, and nothing less than the continued functioning and integrity of our constitutional democracy hang in the balance.
And, to paraphrase Galileo:
"And yet Hillary still has not been prosecuted..."
Maybe what he did to us all those years, will be done to him in prison?
Warning: If you expand the government at a record pace and work for the Democrats, we will federally indict you! Terrifying.
Yeah Bill and Hillary have been a regular Bonnie and Clyde of political corruption for well nigh a quarter of a century. You try the Cattle Futures scam, or the ‘I-forgot-to-declare’ excuse. You try grifts like Whitewater, or phony-foundation. You try not declaring income on your tax return and see how far YOU get.
The left is going to go nuts over this, given indictment mentions his teaching career c1965-1981 (and later political career).
Well I do agree that he spent all he could and he cut the baby in half when it came to morals.
Hell, it has been awhile, but I forgot campaign finance scandals, the FBI files, the Rose Law firm billing records, renting out the Lincoln Bedroom, and I didn’t even touch on Bill Clinton’s sex scandals and the subsequent perjuries.
