Don't want them to do it to us again in '16.
Where can we FedEx your next shipment of tinfoil?
Carly is WHACKING Hillary.
The GOPe are incapable and unwilling to do that.
She is also NOT attacking Tea Party types.
These are my proofs your theory doesn’t work.
Conversely, Huckabee, Santorum, Bush, Christie, Graham ... would spend most of their debate time attacking Cruz and Walker.
Agreed,
I voted for my last ‘lesser of two evils’ if I don’t like the candidate(s) will just go ahead and write in - probably myself- unless that negates the rest of the ballot.
During the campaign in VA for Gov, Chris Plante had Prebus(?) on and he said the reason they weren’t ‘backing’ Cuccinelli is that he either didn’t need the help or money.
He and GOPe including Rove etal are the MAIN reason we are stuck with a Progressive Butt Wipe for Gov and hope his term ends before he can do too much damage.
I blame the GOPe BUT the R’s and Conservatives that stayed home because they didn’t like ‘Cuccis’ hair style or some other (in)valid reason are the REAL reason.
Might be true. OTOH, she won't dilute any support from Cruz. You have yet to show how she hurts Cruz.
Not the stupidest vanity ever, but probably lower quartile.
It’s hard to see how Carly will pull support from Cruz. Your theory that she is keeping Palin and Bachmann from running is also pretty flimsy.
The more liberal Republicans in the race the better - they feed off the same voters and donors and give Cruz a better chance.
I welcome Carly to the race. She is a great communicator for our side. I would not vote for her for president but think she would kick -— as Cruz’s VP. Cruz will need a moderate running mate - just like Reagan chose Bush.
I like seeing her out there whacking Hitlery.
No other candidate is doing so as much as Carly.
Rubio is a little bit. But Carly was tracking Hitlery in SC last week.
I wish Carly would follow her everywhere, pointing out how Hitlery is a disaster.
I know very little about her, other than she has actually worked for a living. How is she part of the establishment GOP?
“iCarly was recruited to dilute support for Palin just in case she ran, same for Bachman or any other potential conservative female candidate.”
So are you saying she was knowingly recruited for this purpose? Or was she duped? Or was she actually “recruited” at all?
I think Carly is smart enough to be her own person and she’d flatly refuse to be used as a mere tool as you suggest.
Just my 2 cents.
Carly is actually auditioning for the job of VP. The job of a VP candidate is to do the dirty work of attacking the other party’s nominee, and that’s what Carly is doing. She couldn’t care less about who wins the GOP nomination, as long as she proves to be useful as that person’s VP candidate.
Which is very smart of her to do. Being the only woman running, sure has its major advantages.
ifin seems to be upset after the attacks on Hillary by Carly. Just sayin’
There seem to be a lot of Pseudo-candidates. However, I don’t think Carly is one. She is smart, articulate and has a resume. People like Cruz, Rubio, Walker and (unfortunately) Bush all are the real deal with a shot (some might argue not for Cruz; I don’t agree). I like Rand Paul on many issues except national security. Kind of a big issue.
But, why oh why are the likes of Pataki, Santorum, Huckabee, Carson, Christie, Graham, Perry and the rest of these second and third tier guys in the race? Carson is a good story, but the others are way past their expiration dates. Decent men, all (well most; not a fan of Graham), but don’t see any with a chance. Why are they running?
Is it to be able to make money or get cushy lobbying jobs after they drop out? Maybe because they get to raise lots of money for their campaigns and get to keep it (for future political purposes, as per the law!)after they drop? Nothing else makes sense to me. I don’t think any of their egos are that big (well, maybe Christie). I really don’t get it. They are killing us via distraction.
You’re sounding like a concern troll now....
bump
What a crock.
Carly ran on her own confidence and talent. She may or may not make a ticket, but she is vastly more dignified than to be anyone’s pawn.
I don’t believe Carly Fiorina has stars in her eyes. She is doing what Hillary is doing— she is already running a general election campaign message. She thinks she can govern as well as anyone and is borrowing a ride on no one’s ticket, but running on her own steam wide open against Hillary, to prove it.
We are darn lucky to have her taking on Hillary. The guys are too busy turning over rocks searching for money to attend to business against Hillary.
iCarly? How clever.
Yeah, all that’s true. But if Hill’s the nominee and Carly continues to shine as an attack dog, any chance she’d get the veep spot with whatever GOPe candidate—and don’t fool yourself, Walker and Cruz are plenty Establishment themselves—prevails?
What are you talking about?
iCarly was a Disney channel show about some kid’s show.
I’m confused.
There is no chance of winning the presidential election without moderate GOP votes. => No Chance <=
Normally in a Senate or House race I would just as soon a Democrat get elected than a Rino like Lindsay Graham — so the rino doesn’t get entrenched. But not in a Presidential race.
Here's some truth serum from the CEO of Intel for you, William Jefferson...
Today, HP is a stronger company because of Carly Fiorinas bold action. Certainly some of this credit goes to current management, who capitalized on the changes Carly made. But it was Carly who shook up the status quo. She engineered the merger. She restructured the combined company. She positioned HP to gain market share, and she deserves credit for standing up to the naysayers and critics to achieve the positive end result. - Craig Barrett, CEO of Intel
It takes a while to put together a campaign and they might not have known about any intentions Cruz might have had when they started.
On the other hand, Carly Fiorina takes votes away from Jeb (or some other moderate). Nobody thought Bachmann would run this time, and very few people thought Palin would.
So no, she's not Jeb's straw. Maybe she's Ted's.
