What children are going hungry?
I thought we had a child obesity problem?

Perhaps we could solve the problem if the starving children were allowed to eat the obese children...
The definition of hunger in this country morphed from malnutrition to occasionally missing a meal to what they now call “food insecurity,” as in, “I’m not sure where I’m going to get food for next week.”
By the last definition I spent some years of my life food insecure. Rarely missed a meal, and when I did it didn’t really hurt me.
You only need to look around to realize that missing an occasional meal would be good for most Americans. Including me, at this point, sadly.
