Cuba is another story. I am not a fan of opening up to them until they throw off their communist yoke. But, at least they do not have the potential to be a superpower (as China does).

No other country has the LIFT capabilities to invade across an ocean.
Course they could just use nukes.

yeah but what’s going to happen? corporations are going to move jobs and Cubans income will rise as well as lifestyle but they will still be under a repressive communist regime. Actually the more comfortable they get the less they will care about the oppression. it never works the other way around. the only way for free trade to work is if United States slashed taxes and made the business climate much much more amenable. & I don’t see that happening anytime soon unless a Cruz or a walker wins the next election.
