China's forces will no longer be limited to defence of the nation's territory but will project its military power further beyond its borders at sea and more assertively in the air in order to safeguard its maritime possessions, the white paper states.

While the air force will shift focus from "territorial air defence" to both offence and defence, the Chinese army will increase its global mobility and its artillery will improve its "medium and long-range precision strikes", it said

I always thought we were absolute idiots for blindly building up China economically.

With our current weak pansy in the white house, every dictator and wannabe super villain is feeling their oats.

Won’t happen with the current wimp in the White House, but you get an alpha male back in the saddle and we’ll be kicking ChiCom butt, I reckon.

For there to be a war, both sides have to fight. With Obama and and the hate the West leftists in charge there will be no war.

China is not going to war with a nation that owes them trillions of dollars.

Remember this incident at the beginning of President’s Bush’s tenor.

A United States Navy spy plane on a routine surveillance mission near the Chinese coast collided on Sunday with a Chinese fighter jet that was closely tailing it. The American plane made an emergency landing in China, and the United States said it was seeking the immediate return of the 24 crew members, all said to be in good condition, and of the sophisticated aircraft and all its intelligence equipment.

The midair crash occurred about 50 miles southeast of China’s Hainan Island, in what American officials described as international waters. The EP-3E Aries II aircraft, which had taken off from an American air base in Okinawa, Japan, issued a Mayday call but managed to make an emergency landing on the island. The Chinese plane crashed into the waters below

They haven’t tested the flexible one yet.

China knows the current POTUS won’t do anything significant because no one wants a war with China. Even if Zero hints at it, the Chinese will stop funding US debt and our economy suddenly gets sick. If things get really tense, they call Hilary and mention the back-door donations.

The ChiComs also know that they have to be aggressive now because this POTUS is (probably) done in 2 years. His replacement won’t be nearly as accommodating.

The Chinese don’t do power projection very well. The last time I remember them trying it was a ham fisted, Three Stooges affair with the Viets.

This is impossible. We were told by our great globalist leaders that if we’d only open trade with China, ship thousands of US factors and millions of jobs to China, and approve their admission to the WTO, we were told China would become freedom loving democrats and humanitarians once they experienced the wonders of free enterprise and capitalism.

So, someone must be misreporting what’s really happening in China because our great globalists and trade pushers are never wrong about anything.

We cannot go toe to toe with the chinese and win.

The chinese are already eating our lunch, and are literally the proxy of the US industrial base.

If china halted all shipments to the US tomorrow, most of the manufacturing and tech sectors in the US would grind to a halt.

China has manuvered itself into being a sole supplier for so many products in the US, that we can’t even ramp up domestic production, even if we wanted to.

The US may have cutting edge technology, but we gave away the ability make even the most simple building blocks of manufacturing to a communist nation, and they will use that technology to defeat and enslave us.

Doing business with the Chinese has taught me two things.

One, don’t trust them when they make a promise.

Two, trust them when they make a threat.

It’s a bluff. Too many of our allies around the Pacific Rim are ready to pounce with overwhelming force. China’s military facilities and infrastructure could be gone in a day.
