As ISIS continues its orgy of rape and beheadings in Ramadi, perhaps our president could show a rare flash of dignity by simply slipping out the back door of the White House and down the road to the links instead of putting on his annual farce of “honoring” the sacred dead at Arlington. If he gave one half a damn about those who gave their lives for this country, the black flag wouldn’t be flying over the cities and towns purchased with the blood of so many valiant warriors.
But Barack Obama, like the rest of the liberal elite, cares nothing for our soldiers or our veterans, or the fact that hundreds of thousands of them died for the rights he treats like a rash – the right to speak freely, the right to worship as we please, the right to have our voices heard through our elected representatives instead of having our voices suppressed by neo-fascist bureaucrats and our representatives bypassed by a would-be strongman who wishes he could rule by decree.
Like everything about the Community Organizer-In-Chief and his cronies, everything about the carefully choreographed charade we’ll see this Memorial Day is a lie.

It’s a pose, an act, a scam. You can see it in the faces of the liberal politicians as they are forced to stand there onstage each last Monday of May, pretending they wouldn’t rather be anywhere else in the world than in the sun listening to people talk about what, at best, liberals consider suckers, and more often consider outright babykillers.
Look at Obama’s face as he walks behind the floral tribute in front of the cameras at the Tomb of the Unknowns. Tell me he’s thinking about the men who stormed ashore at Normandy and not about getting out of there and teeing up.
He’ll talk a good game – they all will, but it’s all a lie. If he cared, he wouldn’t have squandered the victory in Iraq to satisfy his America-hating pals on the left. ISIS, the JV team? Obama lied, and tens of thousands died – and those were the lucky ones.
We remember President Reagan speaking from the heart about the “Boys of Point Du Hoc.” We remember both Presidents Bush and their sincere solemnity in the presence of America’s honored fallen. But when Obama talks about those who gave their lives for the United States, the word he most often utters is “I.”
To Obama and his progressive pals, our warriors aren’t a fearsome Praetorian Guard of freedom, but just another group to be organized and mobilized to contribute to their power base. That’s why Obama went to the Coast Guard academy and told the graduating midshipmen that their supreme challenge would be fighting global warming. Terrific – if the weather starts running slave markets and lopping off heads in the Middle East, maybe we’ll actually do something about it.
Actions speak louder than words, and the actions of this president and his administration go to 11. Our warriors don’t have the fuel to fly their fighters or the bullets to train with, but the money is never short when it’s time for some creepy new diversity program. We can apparently do without a couple carrier groups and a few brigade combat teams, but God forbid we ask the Democrat-voting losers who live off of EBT to chip in for their own defense by taking a little less money from Americans who actually work for a living.
Obama chose as his Secretary of State a back-stabbing clown who publicly slandered his brothers-in-arms. They spit in our warriors’ collective face every time Jenjis Kerrey’s equine mug flashes across the TV screen as he rushes back to the Middle East to tongue kiss the Iranian Islamonazis who murdered so many Americans in Iraq. Obama’s response to that body count wasn’t righteous vengeance but to hand over the part of Iraq to the mullahs that he hasn’t handed to ISIS.
Watch your local Democrat Congressloser at your Memorial Day ceremony in the off chance he, she or it decides to actually show up. When he’s not glancing at his watch, he’ll be about as comfortable interacting with the vets as Hillary Clinton is with journalists who have never written a check to her slush fund.
And listen to what these hacks say. It won’t be about sacrifice. It won’t be about courage. It sure as hell won’t be about victory.
No, it’ll be about how our poor, helpless veterans are too weak and pathetic to stand on their own, and how they need the government to hold them in its warm, smothering bosom. Democrats only love veterans who they can buy with scraps. They despise the vast majority of vets who are strong and self-reliant. They want us to be perpetual victims, losers like the rest of the liberal voting base. And they hate us when we refuse to be just another bunch of submissive serfs lining up with our bowls before the liberal gruel-apportioners, begging for a measly ladle full of slop.
Our current leaders are manifestly unworthy of those they lead. So this Memorial Day, let’s ignore the opportunists and frauds who seek to clothe themselves in the glory of better men and women. Instead, let’s remember the men and women who died for this country and its Constitution. And let’s remember what it was like to have a real president.
My fear is that obama will request to be buried in Arlington, and so will clinton..the final insult.

I have seen Ron Brown’s grave at Arlington, (still there)..he was the dirtbag Commerce Sec killed in the AF plane crash in Croatia. He was not qualified either..another one of clintons midnight burials..(If they request, congress will give them a waiver)...

Great observations! This is why on days like Memorial Day we need to insist upon the patriotism, tradition and faith aspects as much as we can. Like the article says, the l*ftist enemy is in an uncomfortable position today, fighting hard to come across as something he’s not. We need to call him on his pretensions.
