I don’t trust anyone who was in the military.

This is by design.
The rift between officers of the peace and the population, and soldiers and the population is engineered.
Then add in the DHS/Pentagon memos stating that soldiers and those who want the constitution upheld are “terrorists”, and an ugly picture it makes.
Now toss onto the fire militarized law enforcement and “ Jade Helm”.

It saddens me to hear that. The best people I know are former military. They are hard working, patriotic, conservative Americans. It’s a shame you don’t know anyone like that.

The military is just about one of the only governmental institutions I still trust.

I don’t even trust law enforcement, too much corruption anymore.

This is the result of 60 years of slander against servicemen.

I trust the military. I do not trust the post turtle in chief or political hacks willing to “earn” another star by promoting homosexuals/transgenders in the miltary, women in combat/special forces, and designating Republican states as hostile in military training exercises against civilians like Jade Helm 15.

The current leadership is trying to destroy the military from within, hurting morale in the ranks, while creating distrust among civilians.

Please keep in mind the following

1) This is from the Leftist rag the LA Times.

2) It’s just the exact opposite from what I have heard.

3) Most in the military are for the American people, the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights and not a lying, stinking, corrupt politicians.

4) If they betray the American people, then they will betray their families, friends, neighbors, community, churches, etc.... for a temporary filthy politician? Like I said that is NOT going to happen.

5) Most in the military are against the Administration that goes all the way to the top. Hence, why we have seen all the firings of Generals and Admirals.

Bottom line is this. Those that have sold out our Republic hate the U.S. military. On the other hand the militar loves it’s biggest supporter the American people and not the lying, stinking, corrupt politicians.

This is why the military is getting downsized in order to bring in Skynet (1970s DARPA declassified name not orginially from a movie) to replace the humans with Drones and Robots.

See Drones and Robots are basically a computer with no feelings or empathy like humans. They just follow orders. Where have we heard that before? We are a lot closer to this reality than most people realize. It sounds far out, but its not. We have about 14 years tops, if Ray Kurzweil is correct, before this reality comes into play.

Technology is a tool just like a gun. It can be used for good and for evil. It’s just who is behind it. Don’t run from the technology. Let’s use it to go after these criminals that hate our free Republic.

That's what happens when there is no draft. A rational democracy without the lead weight on its head of Political Correctness would have a universal male draft of perhaps 6 months duration when males become an age of 16 to 18 or on graduation from high school before age 19 with exemptions only for sound medical reasons. The draft would be intensive infantry training with no duty station beyond.
Actual enlistment would then not be allowed for 6 months after the training draft period. That makes for a volunteer force and a population of men trained in the rudiments and ready for the specialties and accustomed to military life. There would be no lack of volunteers when duty calls. Much of the historical resistance to the draft was from fear of disruption of life and fear of military life and, of course, the "unfairness" of all sorts of exemptions, especially academic. This system would obviate both.

Apparently the military needs a softer image and they need to be demilitarized or some crap like that.

I believe that this thread deserves a little better than either the comments by sickoflibs or the responses back to him.

The article has hardly been discussed, probably in part to the FR tradition of never reading the article. This one is worth the time to read. The two LA Times reporters have wondered into a world that they clearly do not understand and that is totally alien to the existence they know in the main stream media.

They approach this article like one of those National Geographic travel adventures describing a strange and faraway culture wrapped in exotic costumes and secretive rituals. These two authors come from a world that cannot be further apart from military culture, discipline, ethics, and patriotism. The media have embraced the opposite character traits and then sanctimonious declared that they now stand on the superior morally pedestal.

Since they cannot understand what they are seeing, they decide to ridicule, demean, and minimize. In their mind, those who choose a military life must be flawed, perhaps not too smart, joined for all the free stuff, or a way to realize their murderous fantasies. They never consider that it’s their journalist world is the one quite sick. In a country that almost every institution has been destroyed by the Left. The military is almost alone by avoiding that fate.

The Left has destroyed institution largely through infiltration. Once they have controlled the institution, destruction has invariably followed. With the military, since they will never join it, they are trying to destroy it from the outside. This article is one of those attempts.
