Special Report U.S. military and civilians are increasingly divided

Jovano Graves' parents begged him not to join the Army right out of high school in 2003, when U.S. troops were fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan..

But their son refused his parents' pleas to try college. He followed them both into the Army instead.

Last June, 11 years later, Staff Sgt. Jovano Graves returned home from Afghanistan, joining his mother, Chief Warrant Officer 4 Sonia Graves-Rivers, for duty here at Ft. Bragg.

"My family, going way, way back, has always felt so proud to be Americans," said Graves-Rivers, who comes from a family in which military service spans six generations, starting with her great-great-grandfather, Pfc. Marion Peeples, who served in a segregated black unit during World War I.

Her father, Cpl. Harvey Lee Peeples, fought in the Vietnam War. Her uncle, Henry Jones, was career Air Force. Another uncle, Sgt. 1st Class Robert Graves, spent 22 years in the Army. Her sister, Janice, served 24 years....

Obama was never in the military and he brought peace to the Middle East. In fact he was awarded a Peace Prize for making those counties heaven on earth.

And look at his accomplishments in cities like Baltimore. That place is a Utopia now.

On that subject the Green Berets with John Wayne has been one of my cult classics played every Memorial day, by either TCM or AMC or both, for laughs.

That movie is beyond entertaining, at the end the sun sets in the East. OHH, and that Asian kid Yum-Chucks loses both his puppy and the moocher played by Hutton. War is surely hell in this movie.

Fully agreed. I've had it up to here with the anti-military establishment, impersonators and all. I live in a tourist area saturated with them on the Rockies. The most recent one, who is respected by many, told me that he was a 13B and claimed it was infantry (13B is artillery). Another one who is managing a business told me that he was artillery in Nam and proud to be a dope-smoking Wiccan. Another claims to be a prior submariner but only has an ugly history. A cop implied that because of my service, I was like Tim McVeigh. Others claimed that another nearby property owner was a veteran who wanted to host other child molesting veterans on the place and to be on the lookout for them--a story that didn't check out at all after a quick investigation. Another one with a bad attitude is a foreign national from an unfriendly country who works for a sensitive contractor. Another one--Limey chairman of a phone company I did a contract for, gave me and my headhunter a ration of crap for some witch employee of his who was from an unfriendly nation. This list could be much longer.

What's going on? Are the current political and business leaders nuts? Are they affected by something like penis envy?

Maybe the likely government defaults are part of a solution. Maybe we need a national housecleaning.

Please keep in mind the following

1) This is from the Leftist rag the LA Times.

2) It’s just the exact opposite from what I have heard.

3) Most in the military are for the American people, the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights and not a lying, stinking, corrupt politicians.

4) If they betray the American people, then they will betray their families, friends, neighbors, community, churches, etc.... for a temporary filthy politician? Like I said that is NOT going to happen.

5) Most in the military are against the Administration that goes all the way to the top. Hence, why we have seen all the firings of Generals and Admirals.

Bottom line is this. Those that have sold out our Republic hate the U.S. military. On the other hand the militar loves it’s biggest supporter the American people and not the lying, stinking, corrupt politicians.

This is why the military is getting downsized in order to bring in Skynet (1970s DARPA declassified name not orginially from a movie) to replace the humans with Drones and Robots.

See Drones and Robots are basically a computer with no feelings or empathy like humans. They just follow orders. Where have we heard that before? We are a lot closer to this reality than most people realize. It sounds far out, but its not. We have about 14 years tops, if Ray Kurzweil is correct, before this reality comes into play.

Technology is a tool just like a gun. It can be used for good and for evil. It’s just who is behind it. Don’t run from the technology. Let’s use it to go after these criminals that hate our free Republic.
