Authorities attempted to give demonstrators the space to exercise their First Amendment rights

I guess they took a cue from Marilyn whoever in Boston and changed "space to destroy" into "exercise whatever."

It isn't so much nowadays as "black lives matter" as it is "black protests matter"....all you have to do is add to it and give them some space to destroy, loot and burn.
