I am proud that my hometown did not dissolve into a Baltimore. I was pretty confident and hopeful that it wouldn’t. Cleveland is not much of a rioting town, nowadays. We don’t have the same political “reverends” as other cities.
And for those unfamiliar, it is worth mentioning that the main campus of the Cleveland Clinic is located in “the hood.” It stretches many blocks. The Clinic provides a massive number of jobs for this area, known as Fairfax (you can look this up, if you wish). It would have been an amazing amount of stupidity to riot and destroy. This is one of the things that separates Cleveland from other cities — the 2nd biggest employer in the state of Ohio is headquartered in a poor neighborhood. This was not true in either Ferguson or Baltimore.
Did all the looters get their new Lebron shoes?
The guy led the cops on a 100mph chase for 22 miles in Cleveland, ramming police cars, etc.. You need to get a better source for info!
Chances are they probably had to duck bullets from their fellow residents on the way to the rally.
How does one “obstruct justice” by throwing an object through a restaurant window and injuring a patron?
Either that or the time line from the journalistic point of view is misconstrued
from the facts given to them. It just got bundled in.
