LATE SCHUBERT PIANO PIECESThis is one of the most famous Schubert pieces ever written. Like his late song, “Serenade,” it’s been adapted for movie soundtracks and elevators alike. Note how Horowitz puts an accent on that D-flat in the left hand three bars before the end. It’s in the score that way, but he gives it a little extra oomph.
