Prepare to say goodbye to TLC show “19 Kids and Counting.”
The family-centric reality show is being pulled from the network’s TV schedule one day after Josh Duggar issued an apology following molestation allegations, Page Six has learned.
It’s unclear if the network has made any permanent decisions regarding the show’s future but information about the show remains on the network’s site as of Friday.

The incidents themselves happened, according to the report, in ‘02. The family didn’t approach the authorities until ‘06. And not willingly then.
They were in Chicago to be on a taping of the Oprah show when one of the producers got wind of the ‘josh molested his sisters’ rumor and called the police back in Arkansas.
14yr olds who fondle their 4yr old sisters aren’t just displaying ‘inappropriate sexuality’. They’re pedophiles.

The terrible shame here is that this horrible incident is being used by even more horrible people as ‘traction’ for their agenda.
I blame JimBob and Michelle for this fiasco.
And they didn't exactly "report" it. They told a trooper. This a situation where you go down to the station and/or prosecutor's office, not tell some individual officer.

“Little People, Big World” was a very nice show, with a seemingly normal, loving family (some of whom are little people). It was a rarity, though.
Hope he is not molesting his daughters. I bet he is.
None of us are worthy of God’s grace. That’s why it’s called grace, it’s something we didn’t do anything to earn.
Josh may be completely reconciled and forgiven, or not. We can only look at the fact that Jim Bob and Michelle put their kids on national TV knowing this specter was looming. Now these girls are not only carrying the burden of being violated by their own brother, but now they’re exposed as victims who will be associated with their misfortune in a way that most victims of molestation are not forced to deal with. There is no anonymity for them, and that’s on the shoulders of mom and dad for putting them in this incredibly vulnerable position.
It seems there are two different versions. In one they talked to a state trooper, in another Oprah staff called it in.
Their reactions would probably have been different, if the offense was more serious. By more serious, I am not saying that what he did wasn’t serious.
He was counseled by his father as to the path he was on, if he persisted in his sin, and he appeared to have repented and quit doing that.
For me, that’s the issue. Many people, too many people, have sexual desires they should not have, but they don’t act on them. By all reckoning, he has appeared to quit acting on them.
There needs to be some consideration for that he simply needed to mature.

You should worry more about Josh Duggar's sins & thoroughly criminal acts than my sins, numerous as they may be.
Completely agree with your point about recidivism rates for pedophiles. Agree that maybe his parents could/should have done more to protect the other children. You completely miss my point. It breaks my heart to see fellow Christians stand in such Pharisaic self-righteousness judgment, as though our sins are somehow less “sinful” than this sin. God is no respecter of persons. My sin is no less sinful than Josh’s. His is just a lot more public. And maybe he will have legal consequences for his. But, he is just as needing of God’s grace and just as deserving as I was when I raised my hand and said “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
Jim Bob ones a used car dealership, flips properies, rents commercial property, ownes a towing business, etc. They actually donate a large proportion of the money they make from the show. I don’t believe they really need the money, bUT some of the people they help out will feel some pain.
As I said on another thread on this topic, I’m certainly no fan of Oprah but in this case, she seemed to have done the right thing by cancelling their appearance on her show and forwarding the email to the authorities for further investigation. To her credit, she could have had them on and then pulled a Jerry Springer style – “Gotcha”.
