The term has come up because feminists have had to fight with “transgender” and cross-dressing men at women only events.
So now you may see a feminist meeting that says cis-women only, because otherwise the transgender (used to be male) comes in and takes over that it is REALLY the minority and disrespected more than the women ... or the man in a dress showing up among a rape conference.
So what I’m guessing is that all is not hunky-dorey in gayland.
Wonder what would happen if the collective inhabitants ever succeeded in convincing the rest of society they are the majority, essentially got control over all things social, moral, legal?
Would there then be another epic struggle cis against non-cis, lesbian against gay man? All still against the breeders? It boggles the mind. The possibilities!
