The suspect in last week's brutal slaying of three members of a northwest Washington, D.C., family and their housekeeper is in custody in northeast D.C., two law enforcement sources confirmed to News4.
Police followed a white Chevy Cruze from Prince George's County into D.C. and took 34-year-old Daron Dylon Wint into custody on Rhode Island Avenue NE between between 11th and 12th streets, sources said.
The Metropolitan Police Department has not confirmed the reports.

A really crap area and it has been for decades. True ‘Da Hood’ place.
THE NEEDLE...!
Can’t wait!
Ah, whoops..!
DC = No death penalty.
He chose the perfect place.
:(
Fox news is confirming the arrest. The cops surrounded his car near DC.
white guy in a white van ?
White box truck.
Some reports say that his brother, a couple of others and the 40 grand were found in a white box truck.
There isn't even a little bit funny about this.
What will Obama say about this? It happened almost next to his house. What will Loretta Lynch say? That the 10 year old deserved it? Wint just didn't have enough "luck" in his life?
POS had a job as a welder so there goes the left’s theory that he just needed a job and was frustrated with the system. Blah blah blah.
Is this the black guy who murdered THREE UNARMED WHITE PEOPLE and ONE UNARMED ‘WHITE HISPANIC’ WOMAN?
“near DC”, eh?
And we were told over and over yesterday the guy who murdered three unarmed white people and an unarmed white hispanic woman was in “Brooklyn”....
And this morning Fox reported that along with him were arrested a number of others. I can’t remember the number of other arrests mentioned but I believe it was 5 or 6.
If Obama had a nephew,...
He was in Brooklyn for a time but left when he figured out he was being trailed.

Will there be “hate crimes” enhancements?
The naked hate that motivated this is hard to imagine.
Hey, I'm glad they caught this guy. But I'm thinking that there are a lot of high tech surveillance tools that law enforcement has at their disposal that the average citizen is unaware of.
Used to be a time in America where one could move to a different part of the country and start a new life under a new identity without drawing any attention. Criminals used to escape justice by doing this all the time. Even regular citizens who wanted to get away from family or a bad circle of "associates" could do that and get a fresh start. Not sure if that's possible anymore.
This guy doesn’t seem too bright. He probably used his cell phone while he was at the site of the murder. Then he probably didn’t switch cell phones. If he had thrown his phone off a bridge and then gone to a Walmart to get another one he might have slipped away. Except for the DNA
