Then they 86ed Derbyshire and Mark Steyn.
The so-called conservative pantywaist warriors of the beltway are dead to me.
National Review has been turning left for awhile. This doesn’t surprise me. I will not go over the cliff with them.
Just because they used to conservative doesn’t mean they still are.
NR has always had a high opinion of themselves-too bad most [real] Republicans don’t share it!
When Buckley purged Sobran, I worried something was rotten. When they yelped for war twelve years ago, I knew it for sure.
That ship sailed several years ago.
Steorts ran up his pro-homosexual flag a long time ago.
I hit NRs website sometimes. They carry some good columnists, and it’s not the pop-up pesthole Townhall.com has become.
There is literally nothing out there on him. Just his stupid, liberal editorials.
It's kind of scary that a nothing like Steorts somehow got to be Managing Editor at NR.
Did he have a bunch of daddy's money that he used to buy his way in?
I don't know. It would be nice to at least know what cesspool of a college he went to, and whether his life partner is a florist or an interior decorator.
Damn! There go my future potential job prospects at NR.
It’s traditional because it works.
