As we all know, the news media is only one part of our culture that the left has taken over education is another, and entertainment is the third. This dominance of the three major means of affecting the culture and of transmittinevan+sfvrc+promog information is indisputable and, of course, damaging. Obviously we at Rage fight against the leftist control of the news media, but we also recognize the need to fight against their monopoly in these other arenas as well. As it happens, conservatives arent as serious as everybody knows they are, and many wish that there were some kind of Bill Maher of the right someone smart, funny and sharp on todays issues but from the right. Well, there is one Evan Sayet, who in actual fact used to write for Politically Incorrect back before he wised up and saw the light.
Evans serious works include his 2007 Heritage Foundation speech (the single-most viewed talk in their history) and countless others, but hes also a very funny guy. Watch a few snippets of his comedy here for a taste of his humor which is, as you can tell, rooted in truths that the left and the media refuse to acknowledge. Way funnier than Bill Maher, far truer, and hes RIGHT!
His tweet a few weeks ago about the Garland shooting was cited by many as the tweet of the week the month, the year, and was even described as the best tweet in the history of the internet; we can all go home now. Incredibly, it was written up by a number of publications here in the US (read about it here, here and here) as well as one in the UK(**UPDATE! The Independent seems to have taken down the article!**) and even by the Nigerian Herald. No kidding.
All this is by way of saying, for the first time in years, Evan is taking his political comedy on tour, with major events in Phoenix, Chicago, Boston and New York, more being added as the time gets closer.
The tour starts SOON!! His Phoenix show May 27th the full schedule with links to tickets are here and tickets are going FAST.
The thing is, we all say we want to have more conservatives in entertainment well, thats what hes doing and we need to give him all the support we can. Hes not only touring to be funny, but to take back the culture, to pierce the leftist stranglehold on comedy and to show club owners and the media that conservative entertainment is at least as good as the lefts and especially that there is a market for it. Its not often we get the opportunity to help someone do something groundbreaking, and its odd to THINK of this as groundbreaking, but it is, and we DO have that opportunity.
Activism, as we at Rage know, comes in many forms and supporting a conservative comedian is where activism and comedy collide.
Help take back the culture, and enjoy yourself while you do!
Thanks!
Anytime. I saw it back in 2007 on a blog by Art DeVany, and I really enjoyed it. I watched it twice in a row.
