Cruz to Sex-'Obsessed' Media: Let's Talk About Islamic State's War on Gays
Truth Revolt ^ | 5/20/15 | Bradford Thomas

After a string of questions on his opinion on same-sex marriage and gay rights, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (TX) called out the left and the leftist media (particularly MSNBC) for "obsess[ing]" over opinions on sexuality while "ISIS is executing homosexuals."

The comments came during a campaign stop Tuesday in Beaumont, where Cruz met with county officials and other local leaders to discuss his positions on foreign policy, promoting economic growth, and defending the Constitution. When reporters began to ask him about his views on same-sex marriage, Cruz called out the left and the media for what he characterized as a myopic perspective on gay rights (transcript via Texas Tribune):

CRUZ: Is there something about the left—and I am going to put the media in this category—that is obsessed with sex? ISIS is executing homosexuals—you want to talk about gay rights? This week was a very bad week for gay rights because the expansion of ISIS, the expansion of radical, theocratic, Islamic zealots that crucify Christians, that behead children and that murder homosexuals—that ought to be concerning you far more than asking six questions all on the same topic.

Cruz specifically worked in a dig at MSNBC, saying, "With respect, I would suggest not drawing your questions from MSNBC. They have very few viewers and they are a radical and extreme partisan outlet."

Maintaining that his views on same-sex marriage would not hurt him among moderate voters, Cruz said that "mandatory same-sex marriage" flew in the face of constitutionally protected religious freedom.

Cruz also addressed his potential 2016 opponent's daily escalating credibility crisis, echoing Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer's findings of a "pattern" of dishonesty:

CRUZ: Unfortunately this pattern of deception is what we’ve come to expect from the Clintons. I think what’s most surprising is how unsurprising this is.

He is spot on again! Go Ted! I haven’t been this excited about a candidate since 1980/84.

Good evening, Mr. President.

Cruz is the smartest guy in the field. Probably the only adult, and I’m including Walker.

The issue with Walker is that he’s an immigration squish.

But see muslims murdering gays is ok if they just don’t report it. Getting a wedding cake from a Christian bakery is important, but the beheading of the couple will be ignored as crazy talk.

Seize control of the conversations the left claims they want to have.

That`s why I support this guy, he`s NOT afraid to go on the offensive with these progressive talking rectums. A main stream republiCrat would have sounded like the character of Ralph Kramden from the old Honey-Mooners sitcom, 'Homana.. Homana.. Homana...'!

"Is there something about the left—and I am going to put the media in this category..."

Glad to see Cruz point this out since the fifth-column media is just one of the heads of the leftist Hydra.

Cruz needs to carry around a bag of microphones so after he gives one of his awesome answer he can drop the mic on the ground and calmly walk away.

One of the worst moments for Republicans during the 2012 presidential race came when one of the liberal moderators asked the candidates during a Republican debate, ‘’What is your favorite type of pizza?’’ and every one of the candidates answered as if it was a serious question.

Any candidate worthy of being president would have at least said something like, ‘’I would like to live in a country where everyone could afford to buy a pizza,’’ or any of an infinite number of other responses that would have shown that a particular candidate was disgusted by the liberal’s foolish question; that he/she could respectfully point out how inane the question was; and also that the candidate had enough intelligence to enlighten the audience about a problem relating to foreign or domestic policy no matter how idiotic a question he/she might be asked.

Ted Cruz would have been such a candidate. And now that he’s running for president and every day continues to prove his ability to embarrass liberals for asking foolish questions while serious problems need to be addressed, we should be grateful.

There are so many liberals who need to be embarrassed, yet none of the other Republican candidates seems willing or able to help Ted in his enormous task of exposing liberals to the scorn they so richly deserve.

The beauty in this is that in order to attack Cruz, they must first report what he said, and if they report what he said, then people will start to ask about their failure to report the killing of fags by muslimes.

Ted painted the leftards into a corner.

Let's Talk About Islamic State's War on Gays

Why?

Does anyone in these Mideastern countries give a damn about our corrupt governemnt, our economy or the millions pouring into the U.S. illegally?

Do people in the Mideast give a damn about anything happening in America unless it benefits them?
