When CBS announced the guests for David Lettermans final run of shows as host of the Late Show, they conspicuously left out any names for the last episode, set to air tonight.
Today, we learned that Lettermans favorite band, the Foo Fighters, will be performing a song on Wednesday nights show:

When Letterman came on last nite, I flipped the TV off, and then turned it off. I sure as hell don’t care.
poor dave, he used to be funny 20-30 years ago
What are the odds that Obama will show up?
What are the odds her heinous, Hillary shows up?
I agree he was so funny back in the 80’s with Larry Bud Melman, those 2 Indian guys, his stupid pet tricks. Once he achieved power status and started getting poltical, he became this cranky old man.
I heard Leno declined the invitation..good for him I wouldn’t go either..and as far as Letterman’s goodbye..good riddance.!!
It seems that the crowd is waiting for Jay Leno...
Never seen the dork, sounds like I never will, of well.............
Steve Martin, Chris Rock, Peyton Manning, Jim Carrey, Barbara Walters all at the Ed Sullivan theatre. 2:10 PM - 20 May 2015
I haven’t watched Letterman in years.
Who is replacing him?
I thought maybe Castro or Putin would be there.
Philandering, talent-less, commie...
Big?
Michael Moore?
Al Gore?
He used to mercilessly make fun of Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel and the Today show.
He really showed their vapidity and vacuity.
But he stopped doing it a long time ago.
I can’t remember last time I saw that show, or any late night show.
Decades now.
Stehphen Colbert, another liberal.
“I havent watched Letterman in years.

I haven’t watched broadcast/programmed TV in years.
What’s new on Netflix?
(Only here because of the morbid curiosity about a “he’s _still_on? he11, he was ancient history when I stopped watching such stuff over a decade ago” _finally_ coming to an end.)
Good riddance to the POS creep.
It embarrasses me no end that I actually used to watch and like his show in the 1980s. But admittedly, that’s before he became an ugly, embittered bully. The ‘rape’ joke directed at Palin’s daughter was the last straw. I still can’t think of anyone else on television that I’d more like to punch their face into a bloody pulp than this cretin.
