Bullets ricocheted around the parking lot of Twin Peaks, the Waco restaurant where a motorcycle gang shootout left nine dead, just minutes after Theron Rhoten pulled in on his vintage Harley chopper for a regional motorcycle club meeting, according to Rhotens wife. Katie Rhoten told The Associated Press that her husband ran for cover and was later arrested, along with antique motorcycle enthusiast friends and other nonviolent, noncriminal people. Authorities swept up around 170 bikers who had descended on the restaurant for what one club member described as a gathering to discuss laws protecting motorcycle riders.... McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara and Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton declined to comment Tuesday on allegations that innocent bikers were arrested.

No.
But you seem to be claiming that ALL outlaw bikers participate in gang rapes based on a story you read “ages ago”.
I do not claim to have the same courage and depth faith as Jesus.
Do you?
By the way, I was going to refrain from pointing out the double-negative in your post, but since you’re continuing to be an insufferable holier-than-thou jackass I thought I’d go ahead and reciprocate...
Certainly not. There are probably some no few Outlaw Bikers, like the Knights truckers of old, who would do anything to defend someone broken down on the highway and otherwise perhaps (before cell phones) prey to anyone else who came along. I just do not, cannot, will not, condone a culture which excuses such atrocities, no matter how few of their members, or associates, might engage in it.
Well then, you do indeed have some prudence! ;)
Which is also a virtue.
HA! ;)
Sometimes double negatives are more emphatic! HA! ;)
It disgusts me. And more: Most of the bikers I know would be the first to rise up with rednecks like me to defend. Most of them are not criminal beyond being a bit wild and wooly. And many of them are vets - combat vets.
Folks don't know where their bread is buttered.
bump for later
Yep
This whole effing episode stinks more every day
Hopefully this will not be setting a precedent. Seems more like poking a hornets nest as summer approaches.
LOL! What was the giveaway, the Michigan flag waving on my home page? Thanks for visiting......
“insufferable holier-than-thou jackass”
despite our ongoing conversation, I have to go make dinner. I, like most / all Freepers, decry lawful associations being defined as criminal behavior. The Reno and Clintonistas almost got pro-lifers declared as terrorists, and 0bma thinks people who believe in the Constitution of these Unites States are more dangerous than actual murderous foreign terrorists. So vigilant we must be. But we need not set the bar so low, as to defend actual Outlaw Gangs who deal in drugs and crime. Our claim to Freedom is higher and more noble than that and not to be diluted by defending the “romantic image” of bikers who only want to ride the roads, to include vicious criminals. Justifying criminals, well that sounds more like the left. Justifying criminal gangs makes it easier to classify good people of honest intent, guilty by association. Gotta go. ;)
I think it is fairly obvious that all the 1% motorcycle clubs/gangs revel in their reputation and do everything they can to make others think they are violent and criminal.
Notably including the Bandidos, who are classified by the FBI as a criminal syndicate.
If you do everything you can to make others believe you’re part of a criminal gang, you can’t then turn around and complain you’re being stereotyped.
No matter what they thought, felt or believed, IMHO, what has happened here is much worse than folks realize.
ATF and their lapdogs in the Waco PD have declared war against all outlaw bikers. I think that LE just did more to unite all 1%ers than has ever happened. United them against their assassins.
It has been many moons since I saw a story where the truth as described by LE has been so at variance with the evidence, on many levels.
LE has 100+ hostages in jail now, on million-dollar bonds. Including “Bikers for Jesus” types arrested with the rest for having Harley Davidson key chains on their person when proned out and cuffed.
I want to see the videos from the businesses. If they don’t come out, the cops are lying for sure. And the autopsies. I’ll bet they were all or nearly all killed by police carbines firing 5.56mm, from 50 yards away or more.
“When they came to kill the bikers, I didn’t care. I was glad. I wasn’t a biker. I hated bikers.”
Exactly.
Amen my brother.
“First they came for the bikers.”
It was just a test. Nobody liked bikers. Mission accomplished. Killed 9 and wounded 20, not even a national story 3 days later.
But the ATF and their Waco PD lap poodles just declared war on all one-percenters. All of them.
That doesn’t give cops license to kill you
“I think that LE just did more to unite all 1%ers than has ever happened.”
Perhaps that was their intent. Someone up the gov pecking order knew such would be one of the results of their actions. I also agree as to what you speculate the autopsies will show. What’s in it for these shooters they’ve recruited? Are they that messed up in the head? If so, it took a lot of special training to condition their heads to be ok with such, prolly without them even being aware it was happening. I fear that these sorts will be in high demand under Loretta.
No videos coming out worth a crap.
Every camera that pointed at the “action” seems to be missing.
However, “100 weapons” is now “1000 weapons” and yes, they are categorizing rings, wallet/key chains, etc, as weapons.
And “AK-47s were hidden under seat benches in bags of flour”, as per a breathless, wide-eyed talking head.
This, at the start of the 28th Rolling Thunder veteran’s ride to DC.
Smile for the cameras, everyone.
Sh*t just got real.
