In the wake of the Sunday shootout between outlaw biker gangs in Waco, Texas, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America is stressing that outlaw biker gangs would not have guns if legislators expanded background checks.
According to The Hill, Moms Demand Actions Texas leader, Angela Turner, said, There is no single solution to ending gun violence, but we do know that background checks on all gun sales save lives and keep guns out of the wrong hands.

That is incredible nonsense. Background checks on all pharmaceutical sales would cut drug abuse. The problem is that criminals will not follow the procedures for buying/selling drugs on the DEA list of schedule I/II/III/IV drugs, or for buying/selling firearms. All the expanded background checks will do is add cost and inconvenience for decent Americans, without deterring violent democrats and other criminals.
Since selling guns on the blackmarket is one of the businesses bikers are into, along with drugs and prostitution, I do not think that any gun law would deter these criminals. It is like saying, if only Mafia buttonmen where subjected to background checks, less wiseguys would get whacked.

These Mom goo goos make the chronic mistake (of do-gooders) of thinking that if they take a big bite out of liberty, crime will go down.
See: the 18th Amendment. It has the opposite effect.
Go after the gang bangers and bikers illegally in possession and carrying; leave the rights of law abiding citizens to buy and sell guns the hell alone.
The mouse in my pocket and I are about fed up with `subsidizing’ people who feel laws don’t apply to them, while watching our rights whittled away:
Americans in Connecticut and Oregon are telling their overlords to GTH over infringements to their 2nd amendment liberty.
The stupid! It burns!
And those restrictions on pharmaceutical drugs has lead to doctors being afraid to prescribe painkillers and has caused untold unnecessary suffering among cancer patients while junkies buy there smack without a problem
Even if private sales were made illegal criminals would simply buy stolen guns or ones smuggled in the country just like drug traffickers in Mexico do. Also it would raise the price of black market weapons which would drive an industry of home-brew weapons that are even less traceable than stolen weapons.
So yes, it is possible that a criminal obtained a weapon at a gun show by lying to a private seller but had that avenue not been open it would be simple to obtain a gun through other means. Thus there is no way that private sales increase crime. There is however plenty to suggest that banning private sales will keep guns away from honest citizens which increases crime.
Brazil is a great example, they rank number one in the world by gun murders despite having nanny state gun control laws which have lead to law abiding citizens to be unarmed and afraid while criminals run amook
“Criminal biker gangs are no different from islamic terrorists.”
I doubt that. Would old folks be in endangered by them?
It freezes us!!!
(Well since Soros owed the IRS millions - is this another commie front organization paid for by American taxpayers?)
Yes, innocent bystanders have been killed/injured by biker gang bombs.
“O, brother. ANOTHER George Soros funded group?”
Nice try, but nope. It is a different statist named Bloomberg....
“Mom’s Demand Action.”
They should change their name to The Sandy Hookers, because Michael Bloomturd is paying them. He’s their pimp.
“So theyre saying gang members wouldnt have guns if we expanded background checks? I think these moms have a splash too much vodka in their cranberry juice.”
I actually had a conversation with an unthinking “urban detriot resident.” (hear the dog whistle?) He actually made the claim that gang bangers wouldn’t gang bang if we would just ban guns. I couldn’t respond because I was laughing too hard at him....
Damn few of them.
Everytime I get a cold, I think of your example. I can’t find an effective over the counter medication, yet meth use seems to be as high as ever....I blame the nannystaters with every sneeze!
If there was a law that provides for extended criminal penalties on acts performed as part of an ongoing criminal organization......
We could call it The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act,
The background check form does ask questions about mental history. This statement alone should get this Moms group members banned from owning weapons
