No, you misunderstood. Thais give muslims money in the hopes they won't be bombed by them. This practice is widespread and of course not limited to Thailand. It's one of the reasons why muslims bomb people in the first place.
I see no mention of “daily” and doubt it’s a daily occurance.
In addition, as I said, if you want me to believe that the Thai government “bribes” Muslims not to set off bombs, you’ll have to provide a source before I’ll believe that.

And they just need one good excuse to engage in full ethnic cleansing of Islam in the south.
They call it "development". But really this should not be the least bit surprising because pretty much every nation including the USA gives money to muslims and muslim organizations for muslim "development" whatever that means. And the louder the muslims are, the more "development" they get in the hopes they will be quiet.

It’s an ideology.
You can’t arrest away, or kill away and ideology.
You can temporarily suppress its expression with force, but you cannot get rid of it entirely. It is embedded within the religion of Islam (which has 1.6 Billion adherents and growing). If only 10% of Muslims are radical ISIS type Islamists the world has a problem that is not going to be easily solved. Because that 10% is constant. Kill some of them and others take their place. Millions of potential new ones born every day.
