Perhaps you’d take a moment to contemplate the difference between insulting an institution, what other posters you mentioned are doing, and insults directed at an individual, what you’re doing.
I was a scout leader at many levels for many years. So I don’t need a lecture from you regarding my feelings regarding the BSA.
We left for various reasons, the PC influx being one of them.
And if the attitude you display by your posting habits on this thread are an indication of the type of people left in the organization, it seems I made a wise choice.
That is a distinction without a difference.
And no, calling Scout leaders as a whole child molesters and all remaining Scouts gays is not civil discourse.
If you left that easily, I doubt you were adding too much value while you were participating. It's a lot easier to complain and moan, and be a quitter than it is to stand up and do something to fix a problem.
