An Air Force general who recently spoke about how God has guided his career should be court-martialed, a civil liberties group is saying.
In a speech at a National Day of Prayer Task Force event on May 7, Maj. Gen. Craig Olson credits God for his accomplishments in the military, and refers to himself as a “redeemed believer in Christ.”
The Air Force Times reports that the Military Religious Freedom Foundation has taken issue with Olson’s remarks, is calling for the two-star general to be court-martialed and "aggressively and very visibly brought to justice for his unforgivable crimes and transgressions."
The group authored a letter to Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Walsh, arguing that Olson’s speech violates rules within the Air Force, which prohibits airmen from endorsing a particular faith or belief.

THAT LANGUAGE IS literally Muslim. How many times have we read such idiocy out of the mouths of Islamists. This has to stop. THEY are NOT our keepers. Why should their opinion of anything American be considered when they are not American, and they have no intention of becoming American.

I can't believe I'm reading this! And who the f*ck is the "Military Religious Freedom Foundation" to call for an out-spoken Christian to be court-martialed? I don't recall and haven't read recently the the Uniform Code of Military Justice (USMJ) denying those of faith speaking out in favor of their beliefs.
Although, active duty military is restricted from taking political positions publically, when did it become "unforgivable crimes and transgressions" to state your faith???
Checked out their site and they seem to support military/veterans. I don't get their problem.

And why not? Who is there to stop them? Certainly not the Just Us Department or the Kongress will enforce freedom of speech. They are against it. Was it Chairman Mao that said power comes out of the barrel of a gun? Its beginning to look more and more like that will be tested.
Sadly, that opportunity was missed year’s ago.
A little background: Weinstein is an Air Force Academy grad, and so are two of his sons. The elder Weinstein went to law school after graduating from USAFA, served as a JAG officer and was an official in the Reagan White House before going into private practice. Mikey and his sons claim they were the victims of anti-Semitism at the academy, but they were happy to hang around for the free, tax-payer financed education.
As I recall, one of Weinstein’s sons was at the academy when the Commandant of Cadets was a born again Christian who did not hide his faith. The younger Weinstein claimed that evangelical Christians were running amok and trying to force other cadets to “convert” to their brand of Christianity. Mikey (the father) took the Air Force to court, and won.
That spurred him to start his so-called foundation, which operates like the Clinton Global Initiative; in other words, it’s a slush fund for Mikey. Air Force Times did an expose on the group last year and discovered Mikey pays himself over $200,000 a year (out of total donations of around $500K). The foundation does not follow recommended accounting practices for non-profits and their “board” consists of Mikey and two of his buddies.
In the past, the IRS would have been on Weinstein like a duck on a junebug, but since the foundation is the type of group that officials like Lois Lerner seem to support, he is free to harass any Christian in the military who openly professes his or her faith.
I would not be surprised to see the Air Force cave on this latest incident as well. At last report, the Chief of Staff, General Mark Welsh, was cowering beneath his desk at the prospect of another Weinstein lawsuit.
The cover-all General Article 134? Of course not.
I hate, I say again I HATE, people like these. Sorry Obambi/Holder/Lynch, hate is a legitimate human emotion the same as love, fear, compassion, envy, etc. Some are good and some are bad for mankind, but they all are intrinsic to the human mind/heart. You'll never change it no matter how much you preach and throw more of our money to make such a "Change"
