I agree with you that the pope is on the wrong course, but the mistranslation is significant in that it shows how the press makes the message even worse—as incendiary as possible, to get the headlines. Would you rather not know about the mistranslation? I thought it was important even though I am totally against the two-state “solution.”

Thank you for making the point that the issue of the “peace deal” is much greater than the issue of the possibly intentional mistranslation. I agree with you on that too.
