He used the words “che lei possa essere un angelo della pace” --- which this article in the Jewish Press translates as "that you might become an angel of peace."
It was not an accolade, like a Papal Peace Prize of some sort. It was the customary exchange of diplomatic gifts. Pope Francis did not do this "as pope," but explicitly as "Jorge Bergoglio," the head of the Vatican State.
Not an achievement award, but more like a prayer.
