Over the last few years, the republican party has really been exposing itself to be a party of slime. About the only thing worse is the democrats.

If a Republican were to be elected president, whoever wins will have to fight not only the Democrats but also the GOP-e which will attempt to dilute and/or derail any meaningful conservative policies. Of that we can be certain.
