Why would that matter?
They were handcuffed, in chairs, across the holding room from the officer. The officer who was next to an open door. How do they pose any threat to the officer?
I am not a bootlicker and the idiot that did the spraying is a thug that should stay off my RADAR but what I noticed is that the kid that is going nuts has Cushions, the other one that seems unfazed has none ...
Sumin ain’t right
Cops just being Cops... just my opinion, they are trying to generate evidence for whatever reason. The DA is the one that needs to be questioned.
Just my 2 cents

Thank you.
I tried three different browsers,
(firefox, internet explorer, and safari)
and the video in the link would not play.
P.S. Dave Grossman used to live down the road from me, I never met him but my EX spoke to him on occasion and he gave her a copy of his book to give to me ... it was much appreciated.

The last paragraph (different article)is interesting.
“Aldermen voted Wednesday night to reject Mayor Brant Walker’s reappointment of Chief Jason “Jake” Simmons after video showing two male inmates being sprayed while in a city jail holding cell was broadcast this week by KMOV-TV, The (Alton) Telegraph reported Thursday. The video appears to show the two juveniles sitting passively on a bench before the officer enters the cell, squirts the spray and then walks away.”
“”I am extremely disappointed that someone would release a video including juveniles to anyone outside of the legal process,” Simmons said in a written statement.
The police chief said he learned of the incident in March but didn’t receive a written report until two months later. He added that officer Vince Warlick, a 19-year veteran, remains on the force but is no longer assigned to the city jail.”
Irrelevant.
That counts against your stupid question quota for the week.
“The police chief said he learned of the incident in March but didnt receive a written report until two months later. He added that officer Vince Warlick, a 19-year veteran, remains on the force but is no longer assigned to the city jail.”
He was probably standing next to the DA watching it Live

Makes no difference to me whether they are a cop or not.
They are acting under color of the law as agents of the state. That's the friggen difference.
I myself am a law abiding citizen and lead a quiet life.
There are many like us. The cops have lost us, but they don't know it yet. When they do figure it out, it will be too late.
