Ask youth and Democrats in America what they think of socialism and a growing number will answer in the positive, pointing to Norway, Sweden and self-declared socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders as their examples, a new survey showed.
YouGov conducted a survey of how Americans these days are viewing socialism, and the perception has greatly changed since Moscow Red Square military-parade days.
In general, 52 percent of Americans say they have a favorable view of capitalism and 26 percent, a favorable perception of socialism. But those numbers change dramatically with the younger set.
For those in the under-30 range, 36 percent have a positive view of socialism, while 30 percent have a positive view of capitalism. The over-65 age range of those surveyed, meanwhile, maintained a negative view of socialism. Only 15 percent gave it the thumbs-up, while 59 percent favored capitalism, YouGov reported.

Ronald Reagan warned us that freedom was always tenuous. He cautioned that if we did not teach our children, our country would surely slide into tyranny as many great nations before us.
It appears that that day is upon us, not by some outside force, but from within. The openly Marxist public school system factory has churned a generation that cannot get enough of the benefits socialism. Government is now the solution, not the problem, as previous generations learned. At the heart of this movement is a liberation theology free from the oppression of God, morals, ethics, personal responsibility, and freedom.
State is now god in the eyes of this young generation. This new generation is casting off all the baggage of America's last 240 years and boldly going where others, like Russia and Argentina have gone before. But where will it lead? What will be the outcome for this generation that despises the wisdom of the ancients and cannot get enough socialism?
Proverbs 30:15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give , give . There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: 16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough. 17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
When your only options are what liberal professors and public educators present as ‘salvation’ (socialism) and corporatism (which is socialism and modern feudalism-the system we currently live in). Nuckleheads will choose socialism.
Problem is that other than intellectually we don’t have many real advocates for actual free-markets (which work) and lift people out of poverty, as well as give freedom. Ron/Rand Paul are maybe the exception on the conservative/libertarian/free-market side for young people/
Thank government union schools for this.
“Ron/Rand Paul are maybe the exception on the conservative/libertarian/free-market side for young people/”
Young people are only libertarian when it comes to decriminalizing weed and the Pauls are nuts.
Lazy stupid slobs would rather have someone else working instead of them.
Problem is one day there will not be enough honest working people to support the slobs.
Then what happens?
We’ll all be slobs together then...except for the elite illuminati.
Because that’s the endgame with socialist pieces of $hit.
Government control = socialism
Government doesn't work because government worker are unaccountable. That's reason number 1455839 why gov doesn't work.
Young Americans not getting a paycheck just love Socialism.
Young Americans getting their first paycheck, not so much.
Solzhenitsyn warned us as well...
I started that fight last month at the school board meeting ... because I chatted with a check-out girl (maybe 19 or 20 years old) at Lowe's and she said, "I never vote"
The response was prompted by my ALWAYS troubling (or funny .. depending) remark about the machine asking .. "Is $ ___ . ___ correct?"
Which I aked the girl .. "How would I know ?"
SHE responded with; "Because the machine said so"
and I retorted ...
"Isn't that how you got your president ?"
I NEVER VOTE
Go ahead ... try it ... have fun with the public.

This is why CWII or the revolution, or whatever you want to call it, needs to happen NOW while the older generation who remembers the Constitution and how this country was founded are still around. We can rebuild with the concepts that worked well for so long.
Many are because their prospects (given their socialist slacker attitudes) are minimal. Losers.
And it’s not surprising that young Americans who owe $60,000 in student loans, and are living with their parents because they can’t find a job with their degree are not loving capitalism as much as their predecessors. They don’t see that it’s socialism that’s strangling opportunity, they just know what we have isn’t working for them.
Not true, there are many young conservative/libertarians that believe in free markets. I am friends with many from my political connections.
Rand isn’t like his father, still more libertarian than most here, but not crazy like Ron.
Read? Do students still do that?
Solzhenitsyn warned us as well.
So did Ray Davies.

My years old tagline is quite fit. And YOU are so right.
It is not “they” who are oppressing our country, but “us”.
We have sent our own children to those public indoct camps for now decades and want to wonder WTH happened, while we slept. Actually we were too busy getting mom out of the house and exhausting dad too that the kids were the last concern and not the first. We were pooped. And, after all, we had hobbies and partying to take care of.
The 60’s kids grew up to parent in the most self centered way that delivered them the most convenience. So, now that we have self destructed we are in a self induced moral, social, cultural, religious, and political nose dive. (Thx for hearing my rant.)
