Law enforcement officers at Washington, D.C.s annual Police Week tell The Daily Caller that the anti-police climate is taking its toll on the men and women in uniform and that morale is low in departments across the country.
One source told TheDC Monday night that officers have stepped back from engaging in proactive policing, because they often see the same violent criminals they arrest immediately released on to the streets.

This is very unfortunate for the cops and everyone else. Some is fabricated against law enforcement and some is not.
But fabricated or not, America's divide continues to grow.
Anarchy is the result of this.
More and more crime becomes penalty free.
The Left loves this. The Libertarians love it. The ACLU loves it. La Raza, MALDEF, the NAACP..., they all love it.
I’d love to see a fourteen day walkout by police nation-wide.
Turn every prisoner loose that is in their holding cells.
See what takes place.
Then we’ll see the anti-police louts try to explain that situation for us. Welcome to no police, just like many folks spout off about these days.
Truly, this is Obama’s fault.
I don’t know how to tell the folks at The Daily Caller, but “proactive policing” disappeared from this area a long time ago. Deputies here would not be caught stopping to say “Good Day” to a lowly civilian.
Well, I guess it doesn’t help when the President repeatedly calls you a racist murderer on television. That might dampen things down a bit for the police.
Meh.
Just go shoot some dogs,
Seize some cash,
Kick a few doors down,
Maybe beat up a vet.
They have many coping mechanisms.
psyops
trying to prep a fed takeover.
they will fail
If they aren’t subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice, they’re civilians too.
Now why would cops be demoralized? There must be something that ties these events together...some unifying force...BUT WHAT???
Yup it’s a mystery...
Yep... here too. Police mostly do two things. File reports when you've been robbed, and give revenue generating traffic tickets.

I agree 100%.
Having made a career (over 30 years) as a police officer, in today’s anti-police atmosphere, I would choose another career.
never fear, obamacops will soon be here!
Cops are not stupid. They know their first obligation is to go home to their wife and kids at the end of their shift. If that means that they do not proactively arrest some violent, intoxicated thug who goes on to do mayhem to his wife and kids or someone else in his community, then that is the way it will be. There are consequences to the policies and hostile attitudes toward police of Obama, Holder and De Blasio. Violent crime, especially in minority communities, is soaring in New York.
I picked a hell of a time to join the sheriff’s department. Starting the academy any time, as soon as the paperwork clears.
hmm, maybe obamacorps...

Anyone capable of critical thought knows about Obama. But I think it goes a bit further back than Obama.
Things like Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Bundy event and others have left an extremely bad taste in many mouths. Then millions are watching as local police departments obtain military war vehicles and on and on. When your police no longer look like police but as an occupying military, it might be cause for concern.
Add into this mix people who will use race issues or whatever reason or excuse to torch towns, kill, loot and beat innocent people to death. All this as the professional instigators bark from the sidelines with one eye on the camera looking for more power and endless funding$$.
Not new, but increasing.
