Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush, facing opposition from some conservatives who say he supports amnesty, says undocumented workers should be able to earn legal status, not necessarily citizenship.
Mr. Bush was seeking to clarify his immigration policy in an interview scheduled to air on Fox News Channels The Kelly File, on Monday evening, two days before a scheduled trip to Nevada, a swing state with a large Hispanic population.
The plan, in our book and the plan that Ive suggested when I go out and speak, which is almost every day on the subject, Im talking about a path to legalized status, Mr. Bush says in the interview.

This hack routinely comes down on the wrong side of everything!
He’s not a credible candidate.
says undocumented workers
They are not undocumented workers, they are fraudulently documented foreigners.
Illegal aliens is the proper legal term.
Make no mistake about it Jeb Bush is a Democrat with an R by his name.
He comes from the same cloth as John Boehner, Mitch McConnell and the rest of the GOPe.
Im talking about a path to legalized status, Mr. Bush says in the interview.
I AGREE< As soon as we DEPORT THEM, they will have Immediate Legal Status in their OWN COUNTRY!!
remember when we used to call this criminal trash WETBACKS ?
how about lets revive the word ?
Ho hum, there he goes admitting to treason again. Nothing to see here, move it along.
LOL.... I never stopped.
THe bushes have always loved a North American Union idea.
Hmmm? Workers who have a status in America but “not necessarily citizenship”? Didn’t that used to be called slavery?
Jeb’s family and friends must be making money off of illegals that are subsidized by the rest of us. Get your head out of Hillary’s @zz Jeb, and run the real numbers of what illegals are costing us, beginning with those in prison, their murder rate, their violent crime rate, housing, welfare, food stamp cards, reckless driving, theft, public education, rapes and so on. Is it worth it for the 2 percent who harvest our crops?
I just heard him on the radio say that a kid who has been here 10 years should get instate tuition in college. He said “he has no tie to his home country so are we going to say he can’t go to college?” That always BUGS me because it is a false choice. It is not either you get instate tuition or you can’t go to college. He can go to college and pay what a neighbor state resident pays. Why should he get instate tuition if he is not a legal resident? US citizens from the other 49 states don’t get that. Why should an illegal from Mexico get it?
Since he supports criminal behavior, he belongs in jail with the MS13 crowd.
The “legal status” is a false flag operation. The courts would never allow people who are granted “legal status” not to be able to apply for citizen status. We can’t have a two tiered status of legality. The courts will allow them to become citizens.
I hope and pray he gets his butt handed to him in the first few primaries, gets the message and goes back to Florida to play the mariachis in a local bar band.
