You dont have to like Sen. Ted Cruz, or even agree with him, to find offense in a recent line of questioning he endured.
More than awkwardness, Mark Halperin offered a stunning small-mindedness as he attempted to tease out Cruzs Hispanic bona fides: What Cuban food did he like growing up? Which Cuban music does he favor today? Would he welcome fellow Sen. Bernie Sanders to the presidential race, and Id like you to do it, if you would, en español?
Halperin, famed for co-authoring the book Game Change on the 2012 presidential campaign and prominent today for his analysis on MSNBC, spoke to Cruz for a Bloomberg Politics online interview series on presidential candidates. As you may have heard, Cruz, Texas junior senator, is running for president of a country that should be above such inappropriate behavior from a journalist.
Cruz has been clear about his Cuban heritage, even as he has spent roughly zero time pushing himself as the Hispanic candidate. For the record, Cruzs father left Cuba in 1957 to attend the University of Texas....

Great pic!
That is a beautiful puppy!
Awwww! Precious! What a great way to start my day-pics of beautiful puppies :)
“By the way the embarrassing Halperin / Cruz interview has been DELETED with help from Google and the other Democrat operatives”
I won’t use Google - I use bing. I did a search on bing.com for Halperin Cruz interview just to see what showed up. I didn’t go through all the pages (over 5 million posts and videos came up), but just in a quick glance of the titles of some of the entries, looks like there were a lot of articles that were negative of Halperin. BTW, there were at least 2 FR posts linked (page 3 - didn’t scroll to other pages.
As an FYI - Cruz is supposed to be on the Kelly File on FNC tonight :-)
It fits the damage he has done and intends to do more (including his synchophants).
OK, you changed my mind. I never thought about it that way until you reminded me of Stalin and the Holocaust. Now I’ll take the Obama stickers off my car. Thanks!
I’ll continue to call him “obama”, lower case, no respect. I do respect the office of the President and the Presidency but not obama as a person, a president or his presidency. he has done nothing except get himself elected to “earn” respect and that is not enough, he is a liar, and traitor and is undermining the stability of our government. He has brought discontent and has tarnished the Presidency and everything he has touched.
If you can't understand that, then you should thank me.......
I thought your post was hilarious! Looks like others did not. I especially like the response that you will now take the Obama stickers off your car. LMAO!
I’m not sure about that. Zer0’s doing his best to make sure we are....
