No the sheriff has no special insight he is like many of us who regularly exercise common sense.
As for waiting for them to strike again what needs to be done instead of waiting is to start hunting them down beginning in the mosques, just walk right in and round them all up, like roaches all are diseased, outside the home they are only hard to look at but once they have invaded the inside scurrying around insanely crawling over everything spreading their deadly infection, deal with them.

Sheriff’s are the last stand for law and order. They are elected and accountable. Local police are beholden to federal dollars. State police are beholden to out of town dollars from the state capital. From what I’ve seen, the vast majority of Sheriff departments have remained loyal to the counties the serve.
Yep, Muslim immigrants are coming here in Texas in growing numbers. Many Texans are unaware they’re here until they see them shopping at Walmart*, building a mosque or school, or opening a business in their community. We know some of them will support ISIS.
Texans are naturally suspicious when Muslims insist they must practice their old laws and customs and do not attempt to integrate into our state. They want to live here apart from the laws, traditions, and customs of mainstream Texans and other Americans. They expect us to treat them differently. They want to be an Islamic nation within our nation. That ain’t going to work in Texas. We ain’t buying their BS. We still believe we are one nation, under GOD, and the name ain’t Allah.
I cannot predict what the future holds. But if they or any other immigrant’s allegiance is to another nation, they will curse the day they came to Texas. There are enough patriotic conservative Texans still around to rain on their party. If their goal is to practice Islam, they need to take it to another country while they can.
They would also be wise to remember history. Have they forgotten how the Spanish (Christians and Jews)overturned the Islamist’s conquest of Spain and restored their nation to GOD. Do they remember what terrible things happened during the Spanish Inquisition. How much so, would a bunch of pi$$ed off Texans be under similar circumstances. I don’t know, but I wouldn’t want to find out.
No, Texans aren’t over-reacting. We are just watching, waiting, and hoping ISIS and Washington will not decide to Mess with Texas.
