My prediction:

Brady appeals through the union and after mediation pays fine, pinky swears to never do it again, and doesn’t miss a minute of gameplay.

After Tom Brady’s 4-game suspension, Patriots will play … Colts. Funny how that works. pic.twitter.com/ZMiRaD3TL3 7m

4 game suspension doesn’t surprise me, but fine/loss of picks does. I thought Kraft and Bill were exonerated?? #Patriots #DeflateGate

This is just the beginning, friends. Tom Brady has the right to appeal his 4-game suspension w arbitrator. Legal options as well. #Patriots

My sense is that some of Brady’s suspension is due to scheme and some (perhaps more) for failure to cooperate with investigation. 9m

Tom Brady’s suspension, per NFL, is for “conduct detrimental to the integrity of the NFL.”

“They have no evidence Brady did anything do they?”

He completed more passes in the fourth quarter with hyper-inflated balls than Wilson completed the whole game.

They have no evidence Brady did anything do they?

Nope. But in this brave new Liberal world he should have known. Or in their words he was " ... at least generally aware".

The funny part is that Brady's completion percentage and ratings this year were highest in post-season games with the highest being the Super Bowl. Even though SOME of said he's been doing this for years.

Seahawk fans still can't believe their team ******-up as much as they did and lost that game.

How is Brady the culprit unless he deflated the balls?

Because a team at the quarterback's instruction is responsible for inflating the balls. Each QB knows precisely at what level he wants the ball inflated.

I would been happy to see a punishment of no playoffs REGARDLESS of your record. And if you were to mysteriously lose all of your games this year then the next year that your are eligible for the playoffs.

And BOTH teams play with the same ball. Rules need to followed granted, but I fail to see how this would benefit one team over the other?

And what about holding? That is also cheating. Is it more or less serious than ball pressure?
Again no excuse for breaking rules anywahere; but they are broken all the time in football.

Snubbing Barry has a cost.

Nonsense. The deflation of the balls was a serious enough infraction that it was being investigated before the Super Bowl.

You're wrong. Each team provides and plays with their own balls.

I’m a Seattle fan - I would think if anybody had an issue it would be who the Patriots beat in the last playoff with the inflated balls.

He’s implicated in texts between locker room staff.
You think Godell would drop this hammer on Tom Terrific without solid evidence?

The Seattle coach should have been shot for that call at the end of the Game. While I am disappointed in my Pats...Seattle should still hang their head in shame over that. :-)

If anything, this punishment could be a result of political correctness -- the league is making it clear that will punish white players severely.
