Keening and wailing about their needs....where in the United States Constitution does it give way to LGBT rights or the incessant demands from unions for better wages....students are not better taught, products are not made better actually unions cost the nation.......endless pandering is about all that is accomplished......Senator Cruz is wise to say above the fray.....

Cruz led the fight in 2013 to shut down the government over a futile attempt to defund Obamacare.

Actually, he led the fight to defund the ObamaCare portion of the budget.

It's terribly inexperienced of either journalists or politicans to suggest that defunding an item will shut down the government.
