Not wanting to court danger, the Boca West Country Club has refused to host the Palm Beach Republican Party's "Lobsterfest" dinner that advertised controversial Islamic critic Geert Wilders as the keynote speaker. Geert was part of the Garland, Texas, cartoon contest that invited participants to draw the Prophet Muhammad. Islamic law prohibits any image of the prophet to ward off idol worship.
However, extremists have violently attacked or threatened with death anyone who has published a drawing or depiction of Muhammad over the years. The belief was what prompted extremists to attack the headquarters of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, where 12 staffers were gunned down.
Last week in Texas, in an attempt to fly directly in the face of that law, organizers put together a $10,000 Muhammad cartoon contest. The contest drew the attention of two gunmen who tried to kill participants with assault rifles. Police were able to thwart the attack and shot and killed the suspects. Not long after, ISIS announced that it was responsible for the attack.

I pointed out he was being exceedingly unhelpful. And I yet see a paucity of anyone volunteering out of FR to help such an event (paucity = zero).

How about caring that you are all acting the keyboard warrior. It is so cheap, so easy to call someone a coward you have no intention and no wish to help. It is so easy to tower from on high with invective, and that is why I show how God takes umbrage towards that.

There are many ways to teach the Boca Club a lesson. I have friends in the WPB Republican Club (lived there for thirty years) and believe a great deal of anti Boca can be generated. It might help to bring some much needed cohesiveness to the WPB group as well.
I question the ability of the Boca Club to cancel the event it had already accepted. Does anyone else see a parallel with refusing to bake a Homosexual wedding cake?

I live in Boca it has a vast wealthy cowardly liberal elitist population, many if not most are Jews; the type that believe Israel should surrender land to Palestinians, I’m not surprised at this, I would be surprised if they did not allow some muslin terrorist connected Imam to speak that would just be soooo cooool!
There are other places in Boca Raton they could hold this event and they should.
Would some government official or all government officials everywhere please tell these monsters we don’t care what they believe?? They do not get to set the rules for the rest of the world. This is OUR COUNTRY, we have our own rules and we live by them and we will not submit to any brutal, savage, murderous thugs and hoodlums anywhere EVER and we don’t give a hoot how offended they become. If they want to live in OUR country, they DENOUNCE those beliefs and actions or move to one of their third world hellholes and do their slaughtering there!
