Contrary to some media speculation, top military leadership knew as early as late 2009 that Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl had deserted.
During an open-book question and answer session in Afghanistan, members of Bergdahl’s platoon directly asked then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Admiral Mike Mullen whether he was aware of Bergdahl’s desertion.
Mullen “told me that he knew of the circumstances surrounding his walking off,” former Sgt. Matt Vierkant, one of the platoon members, told Fox News, and “that they were developing leads and following leads, trying to do everything they could to get him back.”
Evan Buetow and Cody Full, also platoon members, confirmed the account.

I believe Obama and progressives backed Bowe Bergdahl BECAUSE he was a deserter.

Bergdahl walked off and left his fellow American Soldiers open to slaughter.
Most Americans think that what Bergdahl did isn’t really any different than the guy walking off the job as janitor. You just get a new one and the floor is dusty for a day.
They have no idea of the notion of a 360 degree defense with interlocking fields of fire and how important it is to have Bergdahl’s eyes where they are supposed to be to look for the enemy.
They are more concerned with their coffee.
Remember the Lieutenant Colonel Marine killed at that airbase where the enemy blew up all those aircraft in Afghanistan?
I can guarantee you that one guy, one guy, didn’t do his job and the enemy got through the perimeter. Just like he walked off the job. And look what happened.
Yeah, one guy missing can cause lots of death and destruction.
And remember how his taliban-loving dad rattled off that towelhead prayer with obie smiling about it? I always wanted to spit in that traitors face. At LEAST that.
I live next door to a 97 year old lidtard who swears up and down bergdahl is a hero and says I’m a nazi for believing otherwise. He stays glued to CNN and an oxygen tank all day long.

That’s what I was thinking. This administration has had, and weathered, so many scandals, any one of which would have brought down a Republican president, that people just don’t pay attention anymore. You know, that may have been the plan. because now they don’t even have to pretend to be “the most transparent administration evah”. They can just break the law and defy the constitution openly, with impunity. Kind of like all the rioting thugs.

And the Obama administration and liberals used his return as a photo op.
And the Obama administration traded the defector and we released some of the worst scum, and after their release they have gone back to their practice of planning to kill my family, my children, and my friends.
Army MSG Mark Allen’s wife writes on the Facebook site, “Bowe Bergdahl is a traitor:”

I hate to say this But I doubt that Obie knows the difference between Desertion and DIfection....or Deflection...or.....
